As reported earlier by several outlets, WWE NXT Level Up is going to be brand new programming from the company. The inaugural tapings for the show were held, last night at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida before NXT Vengeance Day hit the air on Syfy. The taped contents will air as the new weekly show, replacing WWE 205 Live on Peacock and the WWE Network. The show will have the slot of 10 PM, every Friday night on WWE’s exclusive streaming platforms.

Previously, a promo around WWE NXT Level Up was released which stated the following, “Catch some of WWE’s brightest young talent as they look to begin their climb to the top of #WWENXT 2.0 when NXT Level Up debuts this Friday at 10/9c!”

As you can see, the up-and-coming superstars from the NXT brand will get exposure on WWE NXT Level Up as they can expect to get more TV time. This show is also the reason why the Cruiserweight Title was taken away from the current WWE programming as it got merged with the North American Title.

Former ROH Star featured on WWE NXT Level Up

WWE NXT Level Up commentary team will feature Nigel McGuinness and WWE’s recent recruit in Sudu Shah, which also used to be the same commentary team for 205 Live for a few weeks. The ring announcers were Alicia Taylor from the original NXT brand alongside newcomer Kelly Kincaid. Kincaid will be the new WWE in-ring name for former ROH on-air talent Quinn McKay. This also means that McKay has signed with the WWE brand in recent times.
