The Million Dollar Title is back on WWE TV and it will be featuring at WWE NXT TakeOver In Your House 2021, this Sunday Night. The go-home edition of TakeOver saw WWE Hall of Famer Ted DiBiase Sr. bring back the Million Dollar Title. He also announced that Cameron Grimes vs. LA Knight at TakeOver will now be a Ladder Match for that title, which will be hanging high above the ring.
The winner at WWE NXT TakeOver In Your House 2021 will hold the title, and carry on Ted’s Million Dollar Legacy. DiBiase originally debuted the Million Dollar Title in 1989 which was not seen since November 2010.
Billed as being worth $1 million, DiBiase and WWE creative head Bruce Prichard have said in previous interviews that the title actually cost between $40,000 and $50,000 to make. It was created by Betteridge Jewelers in Greenwich, Connecticut. WWE Shop still sells Million Dollar Title replicas for $419.99, and mini replicas for $69.99.
A big Winners Take All match has been announced for WWE NXT TakeOver In Your House 2021 event. A six-man tag team match will feature where NXT Tag Team Champions MSK (Wes Lee, Nash Carter) and NXT North American Champion Bronson Reed will team up against Legado del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Raul Mendoza, Joaquin Wilde). While Escobar will be challenging for Reed’s North American title, Wilde and Mendoza will be going after the tag team belts.

WWE NXT TakeOver In Your House 2021 will be Reed’s first title defense since winning the North American Title from Johnny Gargano in a Steel Cage Match on May 18 episode. He has been involved in a feud with Escobar for a few weeks now, that reached a boiling point as the two were involved in the main event of last week’s NXT where MSK retained over Mendoza and Wilde.

Apart from WWE NXT TakeOver In Your House 2021 announcements, Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher vs. James Drake and Zack Gibson, has also been announced for next week. The ongoing feud will produce a Tornado Tag Team Match on next week’s episode on the USA Network. The winner between Ciampa and Thatcher and The Grizzled Young Veterans are likely to become the new number-one contenders for NXT Tag Team Champions MSK – Wes Lee and Nash Carter.

The match was made official after Drake and Gibson defeated August Grey and Ikemen Jiro, this week. Ciampa and Thatcher watched from ringside and challenged The Grizzled Young Veterans in a match that was accepted, right away.
