WWE NXT WarGames 2021 is going to be the first pay-per-view of the NXT 2.0 era as the brand leaves the TakeOver term for good. The stakes are high this time as the headlining match will see two generations of NXT locking horns against one another in a popular dual cage gimmick match.
BetOnline has released the betting odds for WWE NXT WarGames 2021 and it appears that the new school of Bron Breakker, NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes, Grayson Waller, and Tony D’Angelo are near favorites to win (-200) against veterans of the brand, NXT Champion Tomasso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Pete Dunne, and LA Knight in their WarGames bout.

In the women’s WWE NXT WarGames 2021 bout, Raquel Gonzalez, Io Shirai, Cora Jade, and Kay Lee Ray are slight favorites against NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose, NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne, and Dakota Kai. Gonzalez’s team has the edge at -140, while the team Toxic Attraction and Kai stand in an even spot.

As of this writing, no betting odds for the NXT Tag Team Title match between champions Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel of Imperium and challengers Von Wagner and Kyle O’Reilly have been published. As for the Cruiserweight title match, Roderick Strong is favored to win against Joe Gacy.
Interestingly, Dave Meltzer noted on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that there could be plans for WWE to drop the Cruiserweight Championship. This could possibly happen after WWE NXT WarGames 2021 as the current challenger for the tile Joe Gacy teased an All-Inclusive Title is coming in.
WWE officials previously wanted to make the 205 weight mean something and wrestlers were told to trim down weight in order to get involved, but those restrictions could be changed, moving forwards.
