WWE Payback 2020: Potential Full Match Card For The PPV

WWE held SummerSlam, this past Sunday night whereas the next pay-per-view event Payback 2020 is happening, next Sunday. The company obviously doesn’t have a lot of time to book their August 30th pay-per-view. However, with the groundworks already been set for weeks, the card is shaping up to be quite stacked without much build.

There are four confirmed matches on the Payback 2020 card, so far. The Universal Title would be the potential main event of the night that would be a No Disqualification Triple Threat encounter. The Women’s Tag Team Titles and United States Title will also be on the line. Keith Lee will also be facing Randy Orton in his PPV debut match.

Several more matches are expected to be inserted into the Payback 2020 card considering the recent happenings in storylines. Jeff Hardy has just won the Intercontinental Championship from AJ Styles which indicates that a rematch is likely to happen at the upcoming PPV. This would be another big draw from the blue brand apart from the marquee Universal Title Match.

From SmackDown, Matt Riddle and King Corbin will have their much-anticipated one-on-one bout at Payback 2020. So both Matt Riddle and Keith Lee’s WWE pay-per-view debuts as members of the main roster will happen on the same night. It is also expected that Big E will continue his hurrah as a singles competitor who would go up against Sheamus.

From Raw, one match seems tailored for Payback 2020 between Kevin Owens and Aleister Black after what transpired on, this past Monday. Black turned heel and dropped Owens with a Black Mass which no one saw coming. So, Owens l will probably get his revenge on the former NXT Champion living up to the gimmick Payback.
