This week’s RAW started as footage from last week’s SmackDown was shown where WWE draft 2023 started and all the draft picks that SmackDown and RAW got were shown including the likes of Roman Reigns and Bianca Belair who went to SmackDown as Cody Rhodes and Becky Lynch were given the opportunity to shine on RAW.
The night 2 of WWE draft 2023 started as the WWE Head of Creative Triple H came out to the arena. Once again he announced the rules of the draft and informed that the World Heavyweight Championship will be an exclusive property of Monday Night RAW as the WWE Undisputed Universal Heavyweight champion Roman Reigns had been drafted to Friday Night Smackdown.

He also informed that Brock Lesnar was not eligible for the draft as he negotiated his status to remain a free agent. We did not understand the point of keeping Brock Lesnar as a free agent. If they have any storyline plans regarding this then it is completely okay and we are looking forward to see what they are planning.
The first draft pick was given to Monday night RAW and it was the WWE SmackDown Women’s champion Rhea Ripley. It was one of the most obvious draft picks to keep things off for the night. There is another obvious draft pick that would be announced too which is Austin Theory to SmackDown.
And just what we said. The next draft week was for SmackDown and they got the WWE United States champion Austin Theory. WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther had been drafted to Monday Night RAW on night one of the draft, so Austin Theory to SmackDown was an obvious pick.
The next one was really the best thing to discuss about here. Seth Rollins is selected by Monday night RAW. That means there will be no main event stars in SmackDown that could feud with Roman Reigns. All the bigger names are now a part of the red brand to feud for the World Heavyweight championship.
Of course SmackDown has Bobby Lashley and AJ Styles who could potentially feud for the WWE Universal Championship but they are never beating Roman and it is quite obvious. It looks like Roman Reigns would not drop his title for at least one more year. But the World Heavyweight championship picture would be pretty exciting.
The next draft pick for Friday night Smackdown was a Charlotte Flair. Charlotte was drafted to Smackdown on 2021. Since then she had been working on the blue brand only and she is staying in the blue brand. So sooner or later we are going to see the much awaited Bianca vs. Charlotte feud.
