Once again WWE showed the footage from last week’s RAW where Triple H made the announcement of the World Heavyweight championship. Corey Graves reminded the fans that a tournament would be held among the RAW stars to determine the first World Heavyweight champion.
To host the next part of WWE draft 2023, The Road Dogg Jesse James and Molly Holly came out to the arena. Molly Holly announce the first pick for the red brand of WWE of this round and it was Braun Strowman and Ricochet. Good to see they are still being seen as a Tag Team. But Braun is still somehow a mid card.

Shotzi had been drafted to Friday Night Smackdown and next. It was the little shocking that they announced Shotzi’s draft on the television. She has never been valued enough by WWE, and suddenly her announcement in the draft might indicate towards something. Does it mean WWE is actually bringing hey mid card women’s title?
the former NXT North American Champion Bronson Reed was the next draft pick for the red brand of WWE. So it makes one thing clear that he is not going to win the WWE United States Championship at Backlash. As Gunther is not defending his Intercontinental championship at the event, it makes things pretty easy to understand.
The next draft pick was a little surprising. The former two times WWE NXT Tag Team Champion Pretty Deadly is now a part of Friday Night Smackdown. With so many effective and attractive tag teams are now a part of the blue brand, it deserves a separate Tag Team Championship.
The Judgment Day came out to the arena next. They addressed the crowd and reminded everyone that they are still intact on Monday Night RAW and they would keep on dominating the whole brands. Rhea Ripley and the rest of the Judgment Day got drafted to the red brand separately but they are still together.
Rhea Ripley addressed her opponent for Backlash Zelina Vega and she threatened her for the upcoming match. Finn Balor reminded everyone of the match between Bad Bunny and Damian Priest on Backlash and warned Bunny for what would happened to him at the event.
Damian Priest then grabbed the mike and cut a promo in Spanish. It was a pretty long promo and the whole promo was in Spanish. It is very uncommon in WWE for someone to cut such long promos in any other language rather than English. But it was quite clear that the promo was about his upcoming match at Backlash against Bad Bunny.
Dominik Mysterio grabbed the mike next and as soon as he started cutting his promo, the audience started booing him so loud that he could not speak. We do not understand that it was intentional or he was actually not being able to speak. He made a little botch when he said “six mix match tag team.” We have no idea what is that.
Like him or not, there is no point in arguing that he is the best heel in the world of professional wrestling today. And yes, he is even a bigger heel than MJF and we mean it. It is very rare in any professional wrestling promotion to see someone generating so much heat as a heel these days. So Dom is doing a good job.
