The Miz was seen inside the ring on RAW next who talked about his experience on WrestleMania 39 where he had to go against four different men and he also sold the injury of Shane McMahon pretty well when he said that he beat down Shane so bad that he could not even finish the match. At the end he said that their would be no more surprises.
Matt Riddle showed up and here you go finally a return on the RAW after WrestleMania. The fans really rejoiced the moment. Riddle entered the ring and started cutting a promo but he could not go much further as Miz attacked him, Riddle quickly fought back and beat down Miz.
WWE RAW 03.04.2023 Results & Ratings Part 3
The main event of the night was scheduled to feature and Epic tag team match between the team of Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa against the team of Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes. It was really uncommon that wrestlers like Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar were having matches on free television.
But the match never happened. Brock Lesnar shocked to the entire world when he attacked Cody Rhodes just before the start of the match. Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa looked pretty confused and they did not bother to intervene, so they left Cody helpless infront on an unchained beast.
It was a massive beat down. It went on for nearly 10 minutes and it was one of the most vicious beat downs in the recent history of WWE. But the only question is why? The beat down was so heavy that we really hope that WWE comes out with some good explanation and reason behind this beat down.
The officials had to come out to check on Cody Rhodes. There will random weapons like chairs and steel steps which Lesnar used to destroy Cody. Clearly this is a new beginning of a new feud. At the end of the show, Lesnar flipped the bird on Cody from the stage which was quite surprising on a PG show. Brock Lesnar stood on the stage and the officials checked on the lifeless body of Cody Rhodes as this week’s RAW went off air.
Overall RAW after WrestleMania 39 will go down as the worst RAW after WrestleMania ever. The crowd was heavily invested into the show but WWE did not to any justice to such an excellent crowd. Once again it looked like it was one of those Vince McMahon booked so which had no credibility at all.
Apart from the return of Matt Riddle, and the heel turn of Brock Lesnar, there was absolutely nothing to see in this episode. Whenever you hear the term RAW after WrestleMania instantly it pops into your mind that it was going to be the best raw of the year. But WWE really unfair to all the fans, especially to the crowd in the arena.
Fans were expecting so many returns and debuts, and it featured none. Triple H opened the show which was already announced fans were really excited that it would be about some new title announcement, or maybe something more surprising. But it was just Triple H thanking the fans and saying that WWE was going nowhere which was a clear reference to the sell rumours. We are not rating this show as a normal weekly show but as the RAW after WrestleMania. We give it 0.5 out of 5.
