They also informed everyone that Rhea Ripley was not here tonight because she was busy in promoting WrestleMania 39 on different countries. Ultimately, The Judgment Day attempted to attack the duo but they fought back. The Street Profits also came out to help Edge and Beth.

Match 1 – Elimination Chamber qualifying match – Damian Priest defeated Angelo Dawkins

The first match of the night was booked for eight minutes and it was a good match to kick things off. The match was pretty competitive and it was not dominated by any particular one. Ultimately, Priest pinned Dawkins with the South of Heaven Sit Out Chokeslam finisher and it was a clean win for the former United States champion.

Backstage Maximum Male Models were shown to be drafted on Monday Night RAW as they signed contract in front of Adam Pearce. Chelsea Green met Pearce again and demanded some competition. She also threatened him that she could destroy him in only one phone call.

Match 2 – Dexter Lumis defeated Baron Corbin

Looks like Baron Corbin is back to the jobbing ways once again. He jobbed in this match in only three minutes. Then what was the point of rebranding him and associating him with JBL? He has been a talented wrestler, but all they could do to him is just make him another jobber? It feels unfair sometimes.

Brock Lesnar came out to the arena. He talked about his history with Bobby Lashley and he reminded everyone how he was eliminated by him from the Royal Rumble match. He said that he could not stop thinking about him so he would like to challenge him at the Elimination Chamber and he showed a contract regarding it.

Bobby Lashley came out to the arena and reminded him how he has always been beating down Brock. He said that he would look up into the contract paper and he would show it to his manager and lawyer. As he was about to depart, Brock hit him with an F5. The fans were chanting “One more time” Brock hit another F5 on Lashley.

Match 3 – Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match – Carmella defeated Candice LeRae, Mia Yim, and Piper Niven

The match was book for nearly seven minutes and it was a pretty entertaining match. It was mostly dominated by Piper Niven but ultimately Carmella picked up a cheeky victory. Niven hit the Cannon Ball on LeRae, Carmella quickly took Niven out and pinned LeRae. Niven would have definitely been the better option for Elimination Chamber.

Backstage Baron Corbin met JBL and asked him if he would like to spend some times with him. JBL admitted his disappointment on Corbin and said that JBL head headlined WrestleMania, he had achieved everything. But Corbin had been nothing but a clown. He said he was done with him and he broke the alliance. Behind them MVP was steam shaking hands with Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin, giving more vibes of a potential Hurt Business reunion.

Match 4 – The Hurt Business defeated The Alpha Academy

This match was booked for six minutes and it was a good Tag Team action. MVP was allied with the Hurt Business tonight and the slow build up for a total reunion looked really cool. The Hurt Business is back on the winning ways as Cedric Alexander pinned Chad Gable with Knee to the Spine finisher to earn the victory for his side.

Match 5 – Asuka defeated Chelsea Green

The match was shot and it was an easy submission victory for Asuka. She is still going by her evil persona. Chelsea Green is pretty talented, and there is no doubt about it. But it does not look like that WWE has any big plans for her in the near future. During this match, all the Elimination Chamber participants were beside the ring.

After the match, the WWE RAW Women’s champion Bianca Belair appeared and wished all the best to all 6 women that are involved in the Elimination Chamber. Reminder everyone that he was not only involved in the women’s Elimination Chamber last year but she won it and that was how he got to win the RAW Women’s title at WrestleMania 38.

The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes came out to the arena. He talked about his upcoming Universal championship match at WrestleMania 39 and he wished luck to both Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn for their match at Elimination Chamber. As he was about to depart, Paul Heyman interrupted him.

He took him down to the memory lane and talked about all the history he had with his father and his family. Cody also thanked him for everything he did to help and support his father and his family. At the end of the segment, Heyman reminded that Dusty Rhodes trained some of the biggest names of today’s wrestling including Roman Reigns. But he did not train Cody. He also revealed that Dusty personally told him Cody was his favorite son, but Roman Reigns was the son he always wished he had.

Match 6 – Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match – Montez Ford defeated Elias

The match was booked for seven minutes and it was a good match. Nobody in particular nominated the match and it has been pretty competitive. But it was pretty much predictable. Elias had no place in top under Triple H and everybody knows it. Ford pinned Elias with a Frog Splash.

Match 7 – Steel Cage Match – Becky Lynch defeated Bayley

This match was booked for nearly 12 minutes and it was indeed the best match of the night. The match was mostly dominated by Becky Lynch but at the end of it, Bayley almost had her beaten as Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky kept on assisting her. When she almost got out of the cage, WWE Hall of Famer Lita appeared and took out the whole Damage CTRL. Becky then pinned Bayley with the Manhandle Slam. Becky Lynch and Lita celebrated together as this week’s RAW went off air.

Overall it was a pretty good week of Monday Night RAW. Of course there were flaws but it was really pretty good. There were some good build up to the ongoing feuds and upcoming pay per view matches. The return of Lita was also pretty well booked. Definitely she is going to face  Bayley in the near future, maybe at the Elimination Chamber. The segment between Cody Rhodes and Paul Heyman was also really good.

Now let us talk about the flaws that needed to be talked about on this week’s RAW. The first thing, still no booking for the Women’s Tag Team Championship. It had been months since we experienced some good booking for the Women’s Tag Team titles. Not having Piper Niven in the Elimination Chamber is also a pretty bad decision we believe. She could have brought some variety to the Chamber for sure. We give this week’s RAW 2.5 out of 5. At least it felt like something is happening.
