This week’s RAW started as the attractions of the episodes were shown first. RK-Bro and the Alpha Academy were seen sitting inside the ring for the last round of the academic challenge. It was a quiz competition. The segment was quite long and it was quite fun. This is something that we have never seen in WWE before. It was ultimately won by RK-Bro and they won a title opportunity.
Match 1 – The Alpha Academy defeated The Street Profits in a non title match

This match was booked for six minutes and it was definitely a good match. A number of near falls made the match interesting. Chad Gable pinned Angelo Dawkins with a quick package to earn the victory for his side.
MVP welcomed the hometown hero of Denver, the WWE champion Bobby Lashley. He talked about his victory over Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble. He also said that there was no reason to give the credit to Roman Reigns because he would have defeated Brock Lesnar anyway.
Then he talked about the elimination chamber where he would be defending his title inside the Elimination Chamber. He talked about the participants that would be entering the chamber and he claimed to have an easy victory.
Match 2 – AJ Styles defeated Damian Priest
AJ Styles is already booked for the Elimination Chamber, then why is he getting booked for another title? And what happened to the feud between Priest and Kevin Owens? About the match, it was good. AJ Styles pinned Priest with the Phenomenal Forearm.
The Miz TV was next with The Miz and Maryse being the host the show. Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio where the guests of the night for the Miz TV. The point of the conversation was last week’s match between Miz and Dominik Mysterio where Miz cheated to win.
Rey and Dominik kept on accusing Miz for being a cheater throughout his life. The whole conversation ended having a rematch booked between Miz and Dominik. At the end, Miz reminded of the custody of Dominik storyline when he asked Dominik if he was sure that he was not Eddie’s son since he was taller than Rey.
Match 3 – Dominik Mysterio defeated The Miz
This match was even shorter than two minutes. It was not a very good boost for the ongoing storyline between them. Rey created a distraction from outside and Dominik took the advantage of the situation by pinning Miz with a rollup.
Match 4 – Bianca Belair defeated Nikki ASH
This match was booked for 4 minutes and it could not become anything less than a time filler. Nikki kept on attacking Belar’s knee but at the end Belair capitalised with the KOD.
Next up was another terrible backstage segment about the 24/7 championship where they were trying to build a love chemistry between Dana Brooke and Reggie. It was really cringe and fans were booing it totally. D-Von, what are you doing?
Match 5 – Kevin Owens defeated Austin Theory
This match was booked for nine minutes and indeed it was the best match of the night. Owens pinned Theory with a Stunner. Theory sold the Stunner really well. It feels a little awkward when I say, Austin got pinned by a Stunner.
Lita came out to the arena. She talked about her experience walking into Royal Rumble and facing the biggest wrestlers of WWE. surprisingly the fans booed when they heard the name of Ronda Rousey. Lita said that after completing in Royal Rumble, she was pretty much confident of having another run in WWE.
WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch came out to the arena. She revealed that she worshipped Lita while growing up. But it was the time of Becky Lynch now, and Lita was past. The discussion between physical and the end as Becky attacked Lita but Lita fought back and beat down Becky.
Match 6 – Doudrop defeated Liv Morgan
The match was booked for eight minutes and it was a good match. It was pretty fun and entertaining, Doudrop dominated the most part of the match and pinned Liv Morgan with a Mid Rope Body Splash.
Match 7 – Riddle defeated Seth Rollins by DQ
The match was booked for around seven minutes and it was going good before Kevin Owens made an interference and attacked Riddle. As Owens was beating down Riddle, Orton came out and saved his partner.
Match 8 – Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins defeated RK-Bro
This was the main event of the night and it was booked for around eight minutes. The babyface side dominated the most part of the match, but at the end Seth Rollins hit the Stomp on Riddle and pinned him. Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens celebrated as this week’s RAW went off air.
Promo packages are increasing day by day and contents are getting less. This is a serious issue, WWE is still finding it difficult to book a proper three hour show. Apart from that, there is not much continuation of anything from last week. There are a number of good matches, but not enough to attract new fans. We give this week’s RAW 1.5 stars out of 5.
