Backstage on RAW, Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci met the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. There is nothing much to talk about here, it is the same old babyface vs heel type of talks where the champions ended up challenging Imperium in a match for later tonight.
Next up on RAW. was a one on one match between Otis and Mustafa Ali. This was a very short match, it was booked for less than three minutes. But it was not actually a filler. It was booked to build the further storyline of the conflict between Max Dupri and Chad Gable as both were trying to have Otis on their sides.

This conflict cost Otis his match. Mustafa Ali ultimately pinned Otis after a 450 Splash. The fans are slowly siding with Chad Gable which is the really good thing. Slowly he is turning out to be a fan favourite and he really deserves it. This story can really establish him as a fan favourite. If Otis sides with Maxine Dupri and turns on his best friend, this would definitely turn Chad Gable babyface and this could be the proper start of the rise of Gable.
Next up was the second triple threat match of the World Heavyweight Championship tournament quarter final where Finn Balor pick up the victory over The Miz and Cody Rhodes. The Miz had been a jobber for a couple of years, it might have been a little awkward to see him participating in this tournament. But WWE did not have any other options.
About the match, the bigger focus was to build the further storyline between Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes. The American Nightmare was almost about to win the match, but Brock Lesnar pulld him out of the ring and beat him down. He hit an F5 on him and put him through the announce table to smash it.
The audience reaction on Brock Lesnar was totally negative. We do not remember the last time Brock Lesnar received such a negative reaction. But the better thing is WWE has finally managed to build Cody Rhodes as the top babyface of the promotion. Surely the duo will meet each other at Night of Champions.
The big stitch mark on Brock Lesnar’s face was clearly visible. It is still not clear if blood is returning on WWE after 15 long years. Fans are still curious about the possible outcomes. There had been rumours of it from a quite a long time, but it looks like finally it is going to happen. PG might finally be over.
The number of fans might be unhappy with the fact Cody Rhodes not being a part of the World Heavyweight Championship tournament anymore. But we are pretty sure that it should not be a matter of concern because Triple H has already confirmed that the World Heavyweight Championship will be a title that the fans would be proud of. Title will definitely change hands multiple times, and Cody would definitely win it sooner or later. As of now he should continue his feud with Brock Lesnar.
