Backstage on RAW, The Indus Sher was seen on the main roster for the first time where Jinder Mahal cut a short promo on their faction. This is a return on the main roster for both Jinder Mahal and Veer Mahaan. This is also the main roster debut for Sanga. It would be really great to see Veer and Sanga winning the Tag Team Championship somewhere in the near future.
Backstage The Miz met Shinsuke Nakamura and proposed to team up with him. He said that if they became a team earlier they could have not lost tonight. Nakamura ended up challenging Miz in a match in a match next week. The segment was pretty good, but with Nakamura losing tonight and he was the one whom Seth Rollins pinned, we wonder what plans WWE Creative have in their mind regarding the King of Strongstyle. Definitely he is not going to be a main eventer, as far as it looks like.
WWE RAW 08.05.2023 Ratings & Analysis Part 5
Backstage Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green were seen still looking for people to sign their petition. The Women’s Tag Team champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez met them and said if they were looking for a Tag Team Championship opportunity, they did not have to ask people to sign petitions, all they had to do was just ask for it.
They granted them a title opportunity for next week on Monday Night RAW. Deville and Green started laughing and said they were not going to survive Damage CTRL this Friday on SmackDown. They were asking people to sign petition so that they could face Damage CTRL. A Tag Team Championship match became official for next week. We seriously believe Deville and Green should win the Tag Team titles. We will discuss about it in a different story.
Backstage….. yeah we go to backstage again, Cody Rhodes got interviewed by Cathy Kelley where he was asked about losing the opportunity to win the World Heavyweight Championship and getting attacked by Brock Lesnar again. Cody said obviously he was disappointed about both matters. He was really disappointed for not getting to win the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions.
He then talked about Brock Lesnar and expressed His anger at the Beast for attacking him twice for a no reason at all. He claimed that Brock attacked him because he was Brock was losing his grip from the main event and Cody was taking it away. That was why he was jealous. He then accepted to face Brock Lesnar at Night of Champions.
The final match of the night between Seth Rollins and Finn Balor is definitely the best match of this week of Monday Night RAW. The match was booked for around 10 minutes and it was a pay per view standard match. There was no outside interference, it was all clean and that had been the best part of the match.
Both wrestlers were on top of their games. But inspite of the fact Balor lost this match, the way he was booked here was really good. We seriously hope to see winning the World Heavyweight championship in the near future. He had been pretty good since turning heel and he seriously deserves to win it.
