Seth Rollins on RAW became the finalist and he would be competing for the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions against the winner of the tournament that would be held on this Friday at Smackdown. We would love to see AJ Styles winning the tournament. Ever since he joined RAW he wasn’t treated very well. Now he is back on SmackDown, we would love to see him back on the main event scene once again.
But after Night of Champions we seriously hope that the World Heavyweight championship remains an exclusive property of Monday Night RAW as Triple H promised, and no SmackDown stars come out to challenge for it. They can have fun with the Universal Championship that Roman Reigns would surely different pretty often.

So who should be the inaugural WWE World Heavyweight Champion? Definitely it has to be Seth Rollins. He had received a pretty strong booking lately, and maybe they are booking him this strong for this day only, so that he could win the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions. Besides he is the only wrestler that Roman Reigns failed to beat since becoming champion. So Rollins winning the World Heavyweight title would make it a legit world title as well.
This was the first RAW after the proper brand split and we can already see the differences. It was a good event, and it actually felt like a proper weekly WWE show. There were a total of 8 matches and all of them were fun to see. Some matches were really good and some were not.
But all of those matches served some purpose. Even the shortest matches of the night had some purpose to serve. Like the match between Mustafa Ali and Otis did a good job to continue the storyline between Otis, Maxine Dupri, and Chad Gable. Thanks to this story only, Chad Gable is receiving good fan support.
A lot of people were thinking that Cody Rhodes is going to be the inaugural World Heavyweight champion at Night of Champions. Now all the odds are on Seth Rollins as Cody is going to continue his feud with Brock Lesnar and surely these two athletes are going to face each other at Night of Champions. Hopefully this is going to be the end of their feud.
It does not matter if Cody failed to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions because we all know that sooner or later he is going to grab the title. Triple H has promised the fans that the title will change hands often. We seriously hope this titled does not become a property to one single wrestler like intercontinental championship became a property of Gunther and the United States Championship became a property of Austin Theory. And let us not talk about the Universal title.
WWE organised a total of three matches tonight for the World Heavyweight Championship tournament on behalf of Monday Night RAW, and all the matches were good. However still not happy with the fact SmackDown is participating in this tournament as well when Triple H already announced that the title will be an exclusive property of Monday Night RAW.
