This week’s RAW started as D Generation X was seen backstage where Triple H warned the rest of the members not to use any language. But they could not help using language even Triple H himself. Of course the language got censored but this happened after a long time during the PG era.
The Bloodline came out to the arena. We do not understand why the ring announcer does not address them as Bloodline but as introduces everyone of them individually. The fun part was, a total of 6 of them entering the ring along with the Universal Champion Roman Reigns, and the fans were cheering the name of Sami Zayn. Sami has become really popular lately.

WWE RAW 10.10.2022 Results & Ratings
This segment was really fun. Roman Reigns accused Jey Uso and Sami Zayn tried to handle the situation which angered Jey even more mad. Matt Riddle interrupted them and challenged Roman Reigns for the title. Roman did not accept the challenge but a match between Matt Riddle and Sami Zayn became official for later tonight.
Match 1 – Johnny Gargano defeated Austin Theory
This match was booked for 9 minutes a good match. However the whole process of the match was pretty slow. It was a clean win for Gargano as he pinned Theory with a DDT. We wonder what would happen to Theory, he is jobbing week in and week out. And what would happen to his Money in the Bank contract? Surely he is not winning the World Championship.
Match 2 – Rey Mysterio defeated Chad Gable
Next up Rey Mysterio took on the ultimate jobber Chad Gable. The match was booked for 4 and a half minutes and needless to say it was a clean win. Rey pinned Chad with a Body Splash. As we always say, Chad Gable is a temple bell, anyone can bash him.
After the match, Dominik Mysterio confronted Rey and kept on insisting to hit him. Damian Priest and Finn Balor attempted to attack Rey but he fought back. As he was about to hit 619 on Balor, Dominik attacked him and started beating him down as Rhea Ripley kept on laughing from outside.

On the next segment the Judgement Day was seen standing inside the ring. They talked about Finn Balor’s victory over Edge last saturday at Extreme Rules. It was a good segment overall, they showed their happiness for decimating Edge and his wife Beth Phoenix. Priest and Balor are trying their best to improve on mic.
AJ Styles interrupted them. He fooled the Judgment Day by making them understand that he was going to join them. But it was not the case. This time is a brought rainforcement with him, and it was the return of the OC, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. They came out to the ring and the three of them started beating down Judgement Day. At the end, Judgment Day escaped.
Match 3 – Candice LeRae defeated Bayley
This match was booked for six minutes and it was an average time filler. LeRae needed some victory of course, but we did not understand why it had to be Bayley. LeRae earned a roll up pin fall victory. After the match, Damage CTRL attacked LaRae. Bianca Belair came out to help her but she got beaten down too.
Next up is the birthday celebration of the Miz. Maryse organized a celebration inside the ring with lot of presents. Dexter Lumis crashed into the party and destroyed it. He attempted to attack Miz but this time Miz escaped successfully. Lumis looked at Maryse as if he would attack her but he let her go.
Match 4 – Omos defeated Two Local Jobbers
Omos squashed two more jobbers this week. Hopefully Omos has got back his reputation after jobbing to Bobby Lashley. Now we wait for WWE to start his feud with the Monster among Monsters Braun Strowman.
WWE advertised the return of Bray Wyatt later tonight. But what they did was just re telecasting the whole return segment from Extreme Rules. So this had been a disappointment for a lot of fans who were expecting to see Bray Wyatt back on Monday Night RAW.
WWE United States champion Bobby Lashley came out to the arena for his next title defence. He was a scheduled to defend his title against Seth Rollins. But surprisingly, it was Brock Lesnar who appeared. He confronted Bobby Lashley and completely destroyed him.

As Lesnar left the arena and Bobby Lashley was in immense pain, Seth Rollins came out to challenge for the title. But Lashley was not in any condition to defend the Championship. Rollins kept on provoking Lashley so that he agrees to defend the Championship, and that was what happened. Lashley defended the title inspite of being in no condition for a match.
Match 5 – WWE United States Championship – Seth Rollins defeated Bobby Lashley to become new champion
Finally a major title change on an episode of Monday Night RAW. It was just the perfect booking. Rollins could not take on Lashley on his own, so hi challenge them for the title after Lashley got beaten down by Lesnar. As Lashley was in no condition to compete, it was not very difficult for Rollins to capture the gold.
Match 6 – Matt Riddle defeated Sami Zayn
Undoubtedly, it was the best match of the night. It was booked for thirteen minutes and it was really fun to watch. But the only issue about this match was its predictability. That is what WWE is lacking at right now, most of the matches are really predictable.
During the match Jey Uso attempted to help Sami, but Sami said that he did not need his help. As a result Jey did not help him throughout the match neither did he let Jimmy help him. At the end, Riddle pinned Sami with the RKO. Jimmy looked really disturbed with the outcome.
The main event segment of the night was the 25 years celebration of D Generation X. It was such an amazing segment with a lot of emotional nostalgic moments. The only thing we missed was Billy Gunn. But we could not see him since he is in AEW right now.

The segment was really special, there was even mention of Chyna. They returned with their legendary catchphrases and iconic signatures. This just could not go any better than this. We can bet that Billy Gunn would be really disappointed that he could not be a part of this moment. But we got Shawn Michaels, Triple H, X Pac and Road Dogg who did not fail to deliver, they never did. DX celebrated together as this week’s RAW went off air.
Overall it was an excellent week of Monday Night RAW. This was arguably the best RAW of this year so far. We have got to see a very good match, the return of the OC and Brock Lesnar, even a major title change, special appearance from D Generation X, what else could you ask for? Of course there are some flaws on this week’s RAW.
With Roman Reigns cutting a promo at the beginning of the show, why did not he mention Logan Paul as he is going to face him for the title in less than three weeks time? Why are not they serious about this match at all? The fans do not care about it, even the management does not. Then why booking this match? There were no concrete women’s division segments either. We give this week’s RAW 3.5 out of 5.
