This week’s RAW started as the music of the WWE SmackDown Women’s champion Rhea Ripley hit and she came out in the arena. Adam Pearce was seen standing inside the ring already. The setting of the ring made it pretty clear that Rhea is going to get the new title for herself just like Asuka got on SmackDown.
As Rhea Ripley entered the ring and handed over the SmackDown Women’s Championship, Adam Pearce presented her the brand new WWE Women’s World Championship. The title got unveiled and it was the exact same title as the new World Heavyweight Championship, just in white strap.

WWE had been extremely lazy with these title designs. We can understand that they are trying to present these titles as the counterparts of the men’s versions, but still, the exact same design is pretty lazy. In both cases, they did the same thing, they are the same exact titles.
Dominik Mysterio came out to celebrate with his mami and he put the new title around the waist of Rhea Ripley. As they were celebrating together, Cody Rhodes made interference. He entered the ring and reminded everyone what Dominik did to him last week on Monday Night RAW.
Cody Rhodes Challenges Dominik Mysterio At Money In The Bank
At the end of the segment, Cody Rhodes ended up challenging Dominik Mysterio. As Dominik was yet to give an answer, The Miz attempted to attack Cody from behind. As soon as Cody turned his back on Dominik, he hit Cody on his back and quickly escaped the ring. Rhea Ripley accepted the challenge on behalf of Dominik and laughed.
The segment was good but, since Rhea Ripley was getting the new Championship in this segment, why did it turn out to be the segment of Cody and Dominik? This was a terrible idea. Rhea should have been given a new opponent in this segment. Someone challenging her for the title would have been more logical and fun.
Match 1 – Cody Rhodes defeated The Miz
This was the first match of the night and it was a pretty good match. The match was booked for seven and a half minutes and both wrestlers were pretty competitive in this match. Cody at the end turned out to be the stronger force as he pinned A Lister with The Cross Rhodes.
