This week’s Monday Night RAW started as footage from last week was shown where Bobby Lashley and MVP faced the New Day in a Tag Team action. In the footage, it was shown how MVP lost the match. The show started as the New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) came out to the arena followed by the WWE champion Bobby Lashley and MVP

Match 1 – Xavier Woods defeated Bobby Lashley

WWE RAW 12.07.2021 Results & Ratings

This has to be one of the biggest upsets at the start of the show. The match was not bad, it was mostly dominated by Bobby Lashley. But suddenly Xavier Woods locked standing Lashley in a roll up pin and pinned him. This is a terrible look for Bobby Lashley before is title Defence at Money in the Bank.

Eva Marie and Doudrop were the special guests of Alexa’s playground. The segment did not go on for long as Eva Marie felt insulted after Alexa Bliss said she wanted to invite Doudrop only and Eva was a bonus and Eva left and Doudrop had to follow her.

Jinder Mahal came out in the ring along with Veer and Shanky. He called out Drew McIntyre and said that he would be returning his sword back to him. Drew McIntyre was seen on the big screen and he did not come out in the arena. Jinde showed that he broke Drew’s sword. Drew said that it was replica and he showed him the real sword. He then destroyed Jinder Mahal’s bike. It is now pretty much clear that Jinder will cost Drew his opportunity to win Money in the Bank.

Match 2 – Nikki A.S.H defeated Asuka, Naomi and Alexa Bliss in a fatal 4 way match

This was one of the most entertaining matches of the night. However, the match was technically a triple threat match for most of the time. Alexa bliss did start the match but could not continue for long as the match was interrupted by Eva Marie and Doudrop. She was attacked by Doudrop and thrown away behind the barricade. But she disappeared when they tried to check on her. The match on the other hand was really good. Nikki pinned Asuka with a roll up.

Nikki A.S.H by the way is none other than Nikki Cross. She just got her ring name changed. A.S.H stands for Almost a Superhero.

Match 3 – Ivar defeated AJ Styles

Can anyone remember the last time AJ Styles won a one on one match? He loses every single match. Maybe he is becoming the new Kane of WWE, in spite of being extremely famous among the fans he loses every week.

Match 4 – Omos defeated Erik

And as expected Omos completely dominated the match and pinned Erik with a Two Handed Chokeslam. The Viking Raiders will be facing AJ Styles and Omos at Money in the Bank.

Match 5 – WWE United States Champion Sheamus defeated Humberto Carrillo

The match did not go on for long, in fact, it ended as soon as it started. Humberto was attacked backstage by Sheamus and as a result, it was easy for Sheamus to pick up a victory with a Brogue Kick as soon as the match started. After the match Sheamus kept on beating Humberto as Damian Priest came out in his aid as Sheamus left the ring.

Match 6 – Ricochet defeated John Morrison in a Falls Count Anywhere match

What an amazing match it was! They were given a booking time of around 15 minutes, and they lived the whole bit of this time. The match was extremely physical and it was really fun to watch. Ricochet at the end put Morrison on top of a ladder and hit him with a frog splash causing the ladder to break in half and then he pinned him.

Match 7 – Rhea Ripley defeated Natalya

It was a good match. Natalya did a great job to put over Rhea. Rhea at the end pinned Natty with the Rip Tied. After the match, Charlotte Flair attacked Rhea Ripley and beat her down.

Next up is the VIP lounge of MVP and Bobby Lashley was the special guest. MVP and the girls called out Lashley and when Lashley came out he looked sad. He entered the ring and asked the ladies to leave. He accused MVP for everything went through him. He said MVP kept him busy with girls and champagne that was why he lost to Xavier. He then destroyed the set of the VIP lounge and threatened Kofi that he would destroy his career at Money in the Bank. MVP stood inside the ring and Lashley as RAW went off air.

The show overall was good but some of the decisions were really bad. No matter what the idea is, Bobby Lashley losing to Xavier Woods is not a good look for the champion. And AJ Styles losing every single week is also very frustrating to see. On the other hand there was some great matches like the Falls Count Anywhere match for the fatal 4 way match. We give it 3 stars out of 5.
