This week’s RAW started as John Cena opened the show. He entered the ring and said that he missed the show. He addressed WWE Universe as the biggest WWE superstar. He reminded that he ruined the championship celebration of Roman Reigns last night.

He talked about Roman Reigns and called him arrogant and said he was not as big of a champion as he says he was. He also said that he would be on Smackdown this week to meet Roman Reigns. Matt Riddle interfered John Cena next. They had fun together for a while as Cena left and Riddle waited for his match.

WWE RAW 19.07.2021 Results & Ratings

Match 1 – Matt Riddle and The Viking Raiders defeated John Morrison, AJ Styles and Omos

This was a good way to start the night. It was quite fun to watch. After around nine minutes of the start of the match, Riddle punched Omos with a drip stick and Omos thought it was Miz. Omos and AJ Styles got distracted by this as Erik pinned Morrison.

Match 2 – Jaxson Ryker defeated Elias in a Symphony of Destruction match

This was a no DQ Falls Count Anywhere match with musical instruments kept throughout the arena. The match was really fun. Ryker pinned Elias after he hit Elias with a Superflex on Tables.

The new WWE RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair entered the arena. She said that it felt good to have fans back. She called herself the best in the business. The fans were chanting Becky’s name as Charlotte said Becky was breast feeding at home when Charlotte was dominating WWE.

Rhea Ripley came out and entered the ring. She challenged Charlotte for the title instantly. Charlotte said she declined for the sake of Rhea. Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville and set a rematch for the RAW Women’s Championship on that night.

Match 3 – Natalya and Tamina defeated Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax

Once again Reginald caused a distraction and Tamina pinned Shayna for the victory. After the match, Nia and Shayna fought with Reginald and left. Akira Tozawa was escaping with the 24/7 Championship and Reginald pinned him to win the title. He showed some excellent high flying skills in this match.

Match 4 – WWE United States Champion Sheamus defeated Humberto Carrillo

It was a nice competitive match where both wrestlers were treated equally. The match was booked for nearly seven minutes and Sheamus pinned Carrillo with the Brogue Kick.

Match 5 – Bobby Lashley defeated Keith Lee

It was an open challenge made by Bobby Lashley. Keith Lee made his return as the man to challenge Bobby Lashley. But the point of the match was not understood much as Lashley totally dominated him. Lashley pinned Lee with a Spear.

After the match, Goldberg’s music hit as crowd went crazy. Goldberg came out to the arena and entered the ring. He stood face to face with Lashley as MVP took away Lashley to avoid the fight.

Jinder Mahal was seen next along with Veer and Shanky. He said it was his birthday and it was more fun because Drew McIntyre was not mr. Money in the Bank. He took pride of himself screwing Drew last night at Money in the Bank. Shanky started singing happy birthday maharaja as Drew McIntyre interfered and nailed Shanky with a steel chair as Jinder Mahal and Veer escaped.

Next up is the debut of the NXT Champion Karrion Kross. He made his debut alone, not with Scarlett. His entrance was cut short too.

Match 6 – Jeff Hardy defeated NXT Champion Karrion Kross

So the jobber role of Jeff Hardy may be over. It was shocking. Karrion Kross who dominated NXT completely lost to someone who was jobbing almost every week. This was a terrible look for NXT actually.

Alexa’s playground was next where Alexa Bliss welcomed back Lilly. And the feud between Alexa Bliss and Eva Marie continued with a short promo.

Match 7 – Rhea Ripley dedeated WWE RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair by DQ, Flair retained

As Rhea was in control, Charlotte attempted to escape with the title. Rhea chased her and Charlotte hit Rhea with the title as she was disqualified. After the match, Rhea Ripley beat down Charlotte after the match.

Match 8 – Nikki A.S.H defeated Charlotte Flair to win WWE RAW Women’s Championship

As Charlotte Flair was out cold after being beaten down by Rhea Ripley, Nikki A.S.H came out and cashed in her Money in the Bank contract. She cashed it in successfully and pinned Charlotte win the title. Nikki celebrated with the fans as this week’s RAW went off air.

Overall, it was an excellent week of RAW. No doubt it was the best RAW of this year so far. With all the returns it was a hilarious experience. We give it 4 stars out of 5. One star only deducted for representing NXT terribly through the loss of Karrion Kross.
