This week’s RAW started as “The Visionary” Seth Rollins came out to the arena for the first match of the night. Once again another show started directly with a match, which is getting quite common these days. Seth challenged Bobby Lashley for the WWE United States Championship.

WWE RAW 19.09.2022 Results & Ratings

This week’s RAW directly started with a pay per view standard match. We can see Triple H is doing whatever he can. It is pretty unfortunate that the titles of not getting split. Now we are pretty sure that Triple H has nothing to do with it. Definitely some higher power is controlling everything.

Back to the match, it was really great. It was booked for 13 and a half minutes. At the end of the match when it was still anyone’s game, Riddle interfered and distracted Rollins, Lashley kept the advantage of the situation with a Spear and pinned him.

Damage CTRL came out to the arena. They talked about beating the team of Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss and Asuka and Clash at the Castle. They also talked about Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Bianca, Asuka and Alexa Bliss came out and they had a heated argument. The segment ended with Alexa ended up challenging Bayley In a one on one match for later tonight.

Match 2 – Kevin Owens defeated Austin Theory

This match was booked for 10 minutes and it was a very good match. We would not say it was a pay per view standard match since we definitely get better matches every week on RAW and Smackdown. At the end of the match, Johnny Gargano distracted Theory and Owens pinned him with a Powerbomb.

Match 3 – The Brawling Brutes defeated The Street Profits

This match was booked for 11 and a half minutes and it was a really good match. The Brawling Brutes are challenging for the Tag Team titles on SmackDown this week, so they were brought to RAW to get some promotion before their Tag Team Championship match, which is totally fine. Butch pinned Angelo Dawkins after a double team combination of Head Kick and Body Slam.

The Judgement Day came out to the arena. Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest and Finn Balor talk about their newest member of the stable, Dominik Mysterio and how much they are happy to have him among themselves. When Dominik tried to talk, the audience started booing him so hard that he got really nervous and he was not being able to talk. It did not look like kayfabe at all. Rhea tried to encourage him. Dominik must learn to handle the heat.

Match 4 – The Judgment Day defeated Rey Mysterio and Matt Riddle

This match did a really good job in story telling, obviously this was the best story telling match of the entire night. But the match was abnormally long. It did not have to be booked for so long. Seth rollins got involved in the match keeping his feud with Riddle in mind, Rey and Dominik also had an angle where Rey again refused to hit his son. At the end, Finn Balor pinned Rey Mysterio with the Coup De Grace.

Next up was the Miz TV with Dexter Lumis being the expected guest. Miz along with Tommaso Ciampa cut a promo on whatever happened in the angle between him and Lumis. At the end of the segment, Lumis appeared through the ring and tried to pull Miz under the ring, but Ciampa saved him. It can suddenly remind you of Undertaker or Kane dragging people to hell.

Backstage Finn Balor met AJ Styles where Finn reminded AJ of their long time friendship and asked him to join the Judgement Day. AJ said that he could not turn on his love to once like Dominik Mysterio. Finn hugged him and said that the offer for him to join the Judgement Day will always stay and showed the Bullet Club sign. We know there is almost no possibility, but AJ Styles joining Judgement Day would be huge.

Match 5 – Bayley defeated Alexa Bliss

This match was booked for 12 minutes and it was a good match. However it was not a main event standard match. At the end of the match, Dakota and Iyo distracted the referee which helped Bayley to earn a cheesy victory with the Rose Plant finisher.

After the match, Damage CTRL started beating down Alexa Bliss, Asuka and Bianca tried to help her but Damage CTRL got the better out of them too. At the end, Bayley challenged Bianca Belair for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship at Extreme Rules. Damage CTRL celebrated as this week’s RAW went off air.

Overall it was a good show of Monday Night RAW. Matches were good, the ongoing angles were fun to see, they are even adding new angles which seems even better. But the only missing part is a World Championship segment. It is really unfortunate that the world title won’t split as per reports.

They are also failing to book a consistent feud for the WWE United States Championship. They needs to take care of it soon. And where is Braun Strowman? After such a monstrous return, no booking for him on back to back shows? We give this week’s RAW 2 stars out of 5.
