This week’s RAW started as Kevin Owens came out to the arena. Footage from last week’s SmackDown was shown where Owens was revealed to be the final member to join the side of Drew McIntyre and the Brawling Brutes against the Bloodline at Survivor Series inside the War Games match.
Kevin Owens reminded everyone that he joined the team against Bloodline as the fifth member and he said it was for one man on the other side. He also said that it was not for Sami Zayn, he still considered him as a brother. He joined WarGames because of Roman Reigns. He said he did not forget what happened two years ago. He said after Survivor Series he would take the title away from Roman Reigns.

Owens also said that he did not come alone and he brought the Brawling Brutes and Drew McIntyre with him. They cut a really hot promo and talked about their chances at Survivor Series. The Judgement Day interfered them. The two sides had some words exchanged and it ended up getting a match booked between Judgment Day and The Brawling Brutes.
Match 1 – The Brawling Brutes defeated the Judgment Day
This match was booked for 12 minutes and it was a really good way to start the night. The match was really entertaining. Both teams had their chances. The babyface side had a dominant win. The OC also made a cameo appearance during the match. Sheamus pinned Dominik Mysterio to earn the victory for his side.
Match 1 – Omos defeated Johnny Gargano
This match was booked for only three minutes and it was an easy win for Omos. Even though it was not a squash from any angle. Gargano even had Omos off of his feet. At the end, Omos pinned Gargano with a Chokeslam. The crowd was really terrible during the match. It was totally silent.
WWE United States Champion Seth Rollins was interviewed by Corey Graves Where Seth addressed the upcoming triple threat match for the United States Championship where he would defend the title against Austin Theory and Bobby Lashley at Survivor Series this Saturday. He said that he would punish them both. Theory was also seen backstage who claimed to be a changed man and said that he would take the United States title away from Rollins at Survivor Series.
Match 2 – Austin Theory defeated Mustafa Ali

This match was booked for around six minutes and it was an entertaining match. Once again the crowd was totally mild during the match. Ali had a 450 connected on Theory but Theory managed to get out of the ring and avoid getting pinned. Theory at the end pinned Mustafa Ali with the A Town Down.
After the match Bobby Lashley appeared and the duo exchanged some words. Lashley reminded theory how he cost him his United States title cash in. Theory also reminded Bobby Lashley how he got decimated by Brock Lesnar and lost the United States title to Rollins. It ended up in the duo fighting each other, and it was a big brawl. When Lashley was getting the best out of Theory, he decided to escape.
Match 3 – Elias and Matt Riddle defeated the Alpha Academy
This match was booked for 10 minutes and it was a pretty entertaining match. All four competitors did really well in this contest. No particular team dominated the match. Riddle at the end pinned Chad Gable with the Floating Bro to earn the victory for his side.
Match 4 – Drew McIntyre defeated Baron Corbin
This was a rematch from WrestleMania 38 and certainly it was a better match than their encounter from WrestleMania 38. The match was booked for 14 minutes and it was a really good contest. It was anyone’s game, either man could have win. Akira Tozawa at the end distracted Corbin as Drew capitalised with a Claymore and pinned him.
The OC was being interviewed backstage where AJ Styles was talking about his upcoming match with Finn Balor at Survivor Series. The Judgement Day attacked the OC during this interview and the fight was really massive. It even went to the outside of the stadium. Officials had to come out to stop them.
Bianca Belair, Asuka and Alexa Bliss came out to the arena to talk about their WarGames match at Survivor Series. Bianca said that the fifth member of the team would be revealed at Friday Night Smackdown. Team Bayley interfered them and exchanged some words. Not a very good build up to be honest.
Match 5 – Rhea Ripley defeated Asuka

This match was booked for 13 minutes and it was arguably the best match of the night. This was Rhea’s first match in months and she did not lose her touch at all. It was a very entertaining match and it could have been anyone’s game. Rhea at the end pinned Asuka with the Riptide.
After the match, the two team broke into a massive fight. The heel side was getting the five on three advantage as Mia Yim also got involved into the fight and took out Rhea Ripley. Asuka hit a Diving Body to outside of the ring and everyone lay flat on the ground as this week’s RAW went off air.
Overall it was a better RAW than the recent episodes. Still that Monday night spark is missing and it can never be restored RAW gets its World Championship and Tag Team Championship. We have to get used to this average shows till WrestleMania 39. The women’s War Games match build up was weak. But it is also booked for SmackDown so we are not losing hope. We give this week’s RAW 2 out of 5.
