This week’s RAW started as the highlights of the Elimination Chamber pay per view event was shown including the WWE Championship triumph of Brock Lesnar inside the Elimination Chamber in the main event of the show.
The new and ten times WWE Champion Brock Lesnar came out the arena. Before he could say something Paul Heyman interrupted him. He informed that he might not be able to make it to WrestleMania 38 as the Champion since there would be a roadblock.

And that roadblock was Bobby Lashley whom he would have to face in March 5 at Madison Square Garden. He would definitely drop his title to the Lashley. Lesnar told him that he did not care about any roadblock and at Friday he would introduce himself.
Match 1 – The Alpha Academy defeated The Street Profits
The first match of the night was booked for around six minutes and it was a fun match to watch. No particular side dominated the match. Otis pinned Montez Ford to earn the victory for his side.
Match 2 – Finn Balor and Tommaso Ciampa defeated The Dirty Dogs
Another six minutes long tag team match. It was also quite entertaining but it was a little slow paced. This was the debut match of Tommaso Ciampa in the main roster who picked up the win over Robert Roode with a Sunset Flip roll up pin.

The Miz TV was the next segment of the night. Miz claimed that Rey Mysterio cheated to beat him last night at the Elimination Chamber pay per view event. He said that he would challenge the Mysterios at WrestleMania 38 with a mystery partner in a tag team match.
The Mysterios came out and argued with the Miz. They also accepted his challenge. Miz introduced his Tag Team partner which was revealed to be Logan Paul. Even after one year, he got booed again. Logan Paul and Miz beat down the Mysterios as another match got scheduled for WrestleMania.
Match 3 – Rhea Ripley defeated Nikki ASH
This was a short match and it was not even booked for two minutes. It was more of a squash as Rhea completely manhandled Nikki throughout the match. She pinned Nikki with the Riptide.
Match 4 – Damian Priest defeated Shelton Benjamin
It was a short three minutes and it was mostly dominated by Priest. He pinned Benjamin with the Reckoning finishing maneuver. After the match he said he would like to defend his Championship next week against who had been a former world champion. The challenge was answered by Finn Balor.

Next up was a segment for the 24/7 Championship and it was a fun segment. Reggie came out and wanted to show his admiration for Dana Brook as he wanted to get pinned by her intentionally. As Dana attempted to pin Reggie, he kicked out twice. On the third time Dana pinned Reggie while forcefully kissing him. The chase continued after the title change.
Bianca Belair and WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch had a in ring face to face confrontation next. They argued over their superiority. Needless to say, these two women are going to face each other at WrestleMania 38 as the RAW Women’s Championship will be on the line.
Match 5 – Bianca Belair defeated Doudrop
It was one of the better matches of the night. This much was booked for nearly eight minutes and it was quite fun. It started with a slow pace but but finally it picked up the speed. Bianca pinned Doudrop with the KOD. Loved how Doudrop helped Bianca to get herself into the KOD position.
WWE Hall of Famer Edge came out to the arena. He cut an amazing promo on his history of Wrestlemania, how it all began and how it is still going on. He expressed his wish to compete at WrestleMania 38 as well and he challenged everyone in the locker room whoever would like to accept the challenge.

Match 6 – No. 1 Contender’s Match for the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship – Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins defeated RK-Bro
It was a good main event and it was booked for around nine minutes. Good to see the Tag Team titles are finally getting some attention once again as big stars are working on it. Seth Rollins pinned Riddle to earn the victory for his side. Owens and Rollins celebrated as this week’s RAW went off air.
Overall it was an average show. They tried to cover a lot of things but something remained missing, the spark was not there. And what happened to the Women’s Tag Team Championship? There is no mention of it at all. The 24/7 title is still terribly booked. Matches are weak as well. But Edge’s promo, Lesnar opening the show, and the high stakes for the Tag Team titles were the good sides of the show. We give it 2 stars out of 5.
