Next on RAW, WWE United States champion Austin Theory came out to the arena. He talked about his upcoming at triple threat United States Championship defend at Backlash and he claimed to be the best United States champion ever. He then pointed towards the new World Heavyweight Championship and claimed that it should be around his waist since he was the only one who deserved it.
He also said that he earned the World Heavyweight championship and he was the one who pinned John Cena at WrestleMania 39. It was indeed the biggest victory of his career and he claimed he would make more histories in the near future like retaining his title at Backlash.

Bobby Lashley interfered and said that Theory was holding his title. He said that Theory was pretty strong and hungry for success but he was lazy. Theory asked where was Lashley’s match at WrestleMania 39? Lashley said that he should knock him out for saying that.
Theory wasted no time to attack Lashley but Lashley ducked his attack and took him out of the ring. The Duo started fighting outside of the ring. Bronson Reed joined the fight. Reed and Theory teamed up at first and took out Lashley. Then Reed attacked Theory to knock hin out.
Match 4 – Mustafa Ali defeated Chad Gable
Another very short match to continue the show and fill the card. This match was made official from a backstage segment earlier tonight. The match was not even booked for two minutes. Chad Gable was dominated the match but Ali managed to pin Gable with a roll up.
Backstage Jimmy Uso met Sami Zayn where he threatened him to stop playing mind games with Jey. He said that Jey did not forget all the kicks he delivered on his face and SmackDown there would be no what ifs because they would take their Tag Team titles back.
Match 5 – Cody Rhodes defeated Finn Balor
This match was booked for 8 minutes and it was a fun match. So far it was the best match of the night. Both performers were really on top of their games. But of course it was a predictable match. Cody Rhodes managed to Finn Balor after hitting a Cross Rhodes. We love to see how everybody is looking towards the new World Heavyweight Championship with greed.
Seth Rollins came out to the arena next on RAW. At first he address his match against the Nigerian Giant Omos that would take place at the Backlash pay per view event. But he did not talk about this match first as he had other things to talk about which was the more important.
He talked about the newly introduced World Heavyweight championship. He also addressed Roman Reigns and criticized him for not being a fighting champion. He said that the new World Heavyweight Championship will not be about “politics” or “part timers.” you definitely understand what he did there. He promised that he would win the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions.
