Before Seth Rollins could continue his promo on RAW, he was interrupted by Omos. MVP claim himself to be responsible for this surprise match getting booked for Backlash pay per view event because he wanted to make sure that Omos got the best match possible, and Omos would get a great boost after he beat Seth Rollins at Backlash.
Seth Rollins said that he never saw a bigger man then Omos in his entire life. He should be afraid of him but he was not. He would make him famous at Backlash and he would definitely beat him at the event. After Omos would lose, he would hear the whole arena singing Rollins’ song.

Backstage Matt Riddle was see sharing his ideas to Kevin Owens for beating the Bloodline and Owens looked really annoyed. As soon as Sami entered the room Owens shouted where had he been all night and he pointed towards Riddle which was a really funny moment.
Sami said that he had been talking to Jey and then to Jimmy. Owens got really angry and said why was he even talking to these guys. They had a big match against them at SmackDown and he should be worried about how they would retain their titles. Riddle tried to say something but Owens stopped him and left. Riddle said to Sami that it did not matter they would win or lose on Smackdown because they were brothers.
Match 6 – Rey Mysterio defeated Damian Priest by DQ
The main event of the night was booked for around 8 minutes and it was an average match. The best match of the night remained the class between Cody Rhodes and Finn Balor. This match was definitely not worthy of being the main event of the show. Apart from the cameo appearance of Bad Bunny, there was almost nothing to see in this match.
At the end of the match, when Rey Mysterio was getting prepared for a high flying move, Damian Priest threw a steel chair on his face which led the match go to disqualification and Priest got disqualified from the match. Mysterio was awarded the victory but it was via DQ.
After the end of the match, Priest kept on beating down Mysterio. He pulled him out towards the announce table and as he was about to put him through it, Bad Bunny came out with a Kendo Stick on his hand. He started beating down Priest as the former WWE United States champion was failing to counter.
Bunny was about to put Priest through the announce table, but Priest finally managed to escape. As Priest was escaping, Bunny stood on the announce table and challenged Priest in a Street Fight at Backlash. Bad Bunny stood tall on the announce table as this week RAW went off air.
