This week’s RAW started as the Judgment Day came out to the arena. They enter the ring and started talking about the OC. They also discussed Dominik Mysterio’s epic victory over AJ Styles last week and talked about how big this victory was. They are not talking about Edge right now so that would not be reignited before Crown Jewel.
The OC interrupted them and came out to the arena. They insulted the judgement day and threatened them to thrash them at the Crown Jewel. Finn Balor claimed that the Club was created by him and AJ say that Dominik would not be able to hide behind Judgement Day forever. Karl Anderson challenged Finn Balor in a match next.

WWE RAW 24.10.2022 Results & Ratings
Match 1 – Finn Balor defeated Karl Anderson
The first match of the night was booked for 10 minutes and it was a very entertaining match. It was nothing like a wrestling classic but whatever happened throughout the match was really entertaining. There were chaos outside the ring as the most fun part was Rhea Ripley bodyslamming Luke Gallows. At the end, Dominik distracted the referee as Rhea hit a lowblow on Karl and Balor pinned him.
The Miz came out to the arena. He talked about his issues with Dexter Lumis and he addressed him as “he who shall not be named.” he first talked about all the problems that Dexter caused him till now. He then claimed that Dexter is just jealous of him because he decided to give the opportunity of being his partner to Tommaso Ciampa and Ciampa is not been seen for quit a long time.
Johnny Gargano enter the ring and said that Tommaso Ciampa was not missing but injured. He also demanded Miz to tell the real truth or else he threatened him to blow the whistle. R Truth came out to the arena. It was a funny segment which ended up being a match between Truth and Miz.
Match 2 – R Truth defeated The Miz
This match was booked for even lesser than 3 minutes and most part of the match was dominated by Miz. At the end, a hooded figure beside the commentator distracted the Miz and Truth pinned him with a roll up. The hooded figure was revealed to be Gargano himself and not Dexter Lumis.

Backstage Candice Lerae was getting interviewed by Cathy Kelley where the Damage CTRL interfered. They tried to scare her but Candice insulted all three of them. Bayley pushed the camera and they beat down Lerae. The three on one assault not be seen on camera.
Match 3 – Austin Theory defeated Mustafa Ali
This match was book for 8 and a half minutes and it was a very good match and it was really entertaining. Good to see Ali is finally receiving some good push. But this match did not meet a clean finish either. Rollins assisted Theory to get a cheeky pin fall victory.
After the match, Rollins attacked Ali and beat him down. After beating Ali down, Rollins was leaving the arena as he got attacked by Ali once again and the fight went to the backstage area. Clearly early will be challenging Rollins for the WWE United States Championship at Crown Jewel.
Match 4 – Omos defeated Four Local Enhancement Talents in a four on one handicap match
This was a one and a half minute squash, as usual. But this is not very common for any wrestler to squash four wrestlers at a time. The booking of the match was little weak. All four wrestlers could go together, instead the decided to go one by one. Omos got a pin fall victory at the end.

Match 5 – Elias defeated Chad Gable
Elias made his return, he had to be put over by a certain wrestler. Who could it be? Let me guess, Chad Gable, just like always. If a babyface wrestler had to be put over, they get a victory over Chad Gable to begin with, this is getting boring now. This match was booked for six minutes and Elias pinned Gable with a Neckbreaker. After the match, Otis attacked Elias but Riddle came out for the help.
Match 6 – Baron Corbin defeated Johnny Gargano
This was one of the better matches of the night and it was booked for 11 minutes. But once again it did not meet a clean finish. During the match, Gargano kept on insulting JBL who assisted Corbin to a victory. Corbin pinned Gargano with a Deep Six.
Match 7 – Bayley defeated Bianca Belair in a non title match
This was certainly the best and the longest match of the night as it was booked for over 16 minutes. It had been really entertaining and it seemed like a classic face vs heel showdown. At the end of the match when Bianca was being ganged up, Nikki Cross attacked all of them, even the referee.

The sudden attack from Nikki helped Bayley to get a victory over Bianca. At first it seemed like Nikki would be joining Damage CTRL. But at the end, she beat down Bayley as well. It is difficult to predict where this new storyline is going, but it is good to see jobbing days are over for Nikki and she is now back in her previous gimmick. Nikki Cross stood tall as this week’s RAW went off air.
Overall it was not a bad week of RAW, once again it felt like something is actually happening. But there is something definitely wrong with this week’s RAW, five of the seven matches could not end clean. One May argue that it is good to build storylines, but similar endings for almost all the matches is not the right thing. After the first hour WWE killed a lot of time with pre taped footages. WWE is still confused how to book a three hour long RAW perfectly. We give this week’s RAW 2 out of 5.
