This week’s RAW started as footage from last week was shown where Dominik Mysterio confronted Cody Rhodes and a match between the duo got set at Money in the Bank. That was the highlight you got from last week and not Finn Balor’s attack on Seth Rollins?
The show started as Dominik Mysterio and the Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley were seen standing inside the ring. Dominik was trying to welcome the fans on RAW but they were less interested in hearing him just like always. Rhea Ripley grabbed the mic and threatened Cody Rhodes for Money in the Bank.

Cody Rhodes came out to the arena. He entered the ring and started making fun of Dominik Mysterio. Rhea Ripley said that Dominik is a dangerous man and he would get to know about it at Money in the Bank. As Cody started making fun of him again, he and Rhea started walking away. Cody kept on provoking him but he was not bothered to get into the ring with him.
Match 1 – Ricochet defeated Shinsuke Nakamura

The first match of the night was pretty entertaining and it was booked for six and a half minutes. We all know what these wrestlers are capable of, and they did exactly what they are known for. But it is unfortunate that Nakamura is back in the lower mid card level.
There had been a massive rumour that McMahon is back on the creative side, and we all know what he had in mind about Nakamura. He was receiving a strong push after his return, but it is pretty much clear that it is very much gone. Ricochet pinned him with the Shooting Star Press, and most importantly, it was a clean win.
Backstage Matt Riddle was being interviewed by Byron Saxton where he issued a challenge to Gunther for the WWE IC Title. Ludwig Kaiser interrupted him and he said that Riddle should not dare to challenge Gunther. The conversation became physical at the end as a riddle started beating down Kaiser, Gunther attacked Riddle and once again he got beaten down. Gunther accepted Riddle’s challenge at the end.
An excellent promo package was presented promoting the upcoming Money in the Bank event where they talked about the history of the show and the best moments throughout the history. It was an excellent presentation and it would definitely pump up the fans for the show.
