This week’s RAW started as footage of Big E cashing in his Money in the Bank contract was shown. Also, footage from the six man tag team match from Extreme Rules (or rather we say Normal Rules) was shown where Big E pinned Bobby Lashley.

WWE RAW 27.09.2021 Results & Ratings

It was actually quite a good match. The match was booked for nearly fifteen minutes and we believe it should have been booked at Extreme Rules. At the end of the match, The Hurt Business was suddenly seen outside of the ring.

As Lashley was about to pin Big E, the other New Day members crashed into the match as all of them started fighting. Adam Pearce announced that the title match will take inside still cage later tonight.

Match 2 – Angel Garza defeated Eric

The match was very short. It was possibly an attempt to book Garza and Carrillo as worthy competitors for the tag team titles. Carrillo created distraction from outside as Garza took the advantage of the situation.

Match 3 – WWE 24/7 Championship – Reggie vs. Ricochet went to a no contest

What does it look like? Reggie vs. Ricochet? Oh my god this is going to be a high flying classic! Isn’t it? But no, it ultimately turned out to be a 24/7 championship chase as R Truth, Drew Gulak and Akira Tozawa broke into the scene and the scene got repeated. Reggie escaped with high flying moves. It is getting irritating now.

Match 4 – Keith Lee defeated Akira Tozawa

Keith Lee was addressed as Keith “Bearcat” Lee. As it was reported, Keith Lee would be having monstrous push soon. This might have been the beginning. About the match, it was a squash. It did not even last long for thirty seconds.

Match 5 – WWE United States Champion Damian Priest defeated Sheamus in a no DQ match

It was a very entertaining match. The match was quite brutal and it was pretty much hardcore as well. Damian Priest at the end threw Sheamus through a table and then pinned him with a Reckoning Face First.

Match 6 – Jinder Mahal, Shanky and Veer defeated Mustafa Ali, Mansoor and Jeff Hardy

This six man tag team match was short but good. It looked like Jeff Hardy might be having his lost push back, but it did not seem so anymore. Surprisingly, Veer took the pinfall win. He pinned Mustafa Ali with a Lariat. This was his first win on the main roster.

Match 7 – Karrion Kross defeated Jaxson Ryker by submission

This match was more of a squash as well. The short push Jaxson Ryker seems to be gone. Karrion Kross made Ryker submit with his signature Neck Lock

Match 8 – AJ Styles defeated Riddle

These two athletes have the potential to give a match of the year like performance. What an excellent match it was! In only ten minutes they proved their worth. AJ pinned Riddle with the Styles Clash and it was a clean win. After the match, Omos chokeslammed Riddler.

Backstage Shayna Baszler was asked about her actions last week. Shayna avoided answering any questions.

Match 9 – WWE RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair defeated Doudrop to retain

The match might have been short but it was mostly dominated by Doudrop. Eva Marie caused a distraction and Charlotte took the advantage of the situation and pinned her. Eva Marie entered the ring and started celebrating as Charlotte knocked her down too.

Goldberg was seen in a pre taped footage where he promised he would take his revenge on Bobby Lashley for hurting his son

Eva Marie was seen standing inside the ring, trash talking. Shayna Baszler interfered and beat her down. She beat her in the same way she beat Nia Jax last week. Since the victim was Eva Marie, fans enjoyed it.

Match 10 – Steel Cage Match for the WWE Championship – Big E defeated Bobby Lashley to retain

Indeed it was the best match of the night. It was a pay per view standard match. Both athletes were amazing. Kudos to Bobby Lashley specially for giving such a performance. Big E pinned Lashley with a Big Ending from the second rope. After the match, Drew McIntyre entered the arena and indicated towards a possible championship challenge. Big E and Drew McIntyre stared down as this week’s RAW went off air.

A lot of things happened this week. They tried to cover everything possible and they were pretty much successful. But this WWE 24/7 Championship change is getting irritating now. Reggie has to drop the title now. It is the 24/7 Championship, he should not be retain it for so long. In fact he should have dropped the title to Ricochet this week. Aj Styles vs. Riddle and the Steel Cage match were two of the best matches of this week. We give it 3.5 stars out of 5.
