This week’s Monday Night RAW started as WWE United States champion Damian Priest came out to the arena. He welcomed everyone on Monday Night RAW and talked about his pride in holding the WWE United States Championship. He said that he wanted to carry The Legacy of Rey Mysterio, Jeff Hardy, and John Cena who held this title before. He issued an open challenge.
The former champion Sheamus came out. He said that it was quite nice of him to issue the open challenge because he was going to accept it and take his title back. Drew McIntyre also came out. They deserve something new, so we would like to challenge him for the title because he could not win the United States Championship ever before.

WWE RAW 30.08.2021 Results & Ratings
WWE champion Bobby Lashley came out to the arena. MVP said that Lashley has beaten almost everyone in the roster of Monday Night RAW. So it would be time for him to hold two Championship at a time so he would like to challenge Damian Priest for the WWE United States Championship.
Randy Orton and Matt Riddle came out next. Orton address of Bobby Lashley as son of a ***** and also said he did not deserve to hold both titles at once. It should be him who deserved to do it.
Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville came out and announced a triple threat match for the WWE United States Championship including the champion Damian Priest, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus. They also announced a tag team match between the Tag Team champions RK-Bro and Bobby Lashley & MVP.
Match 1 – Rhea Ripley defeated Shayna Baszler
The match was really good. It was quite competitive as both women were given great opportunities. But at the end Rhea Ripley managed to steal a rollup victory. After the match, Nia Jax attacked Rhea and Nikki ASH who was outside of the ring and beat them down both.
Match 2 – The Viking Raiders defeated Jinder Mahal and Veer
The match was mostly dominated by the Viking Raiders and they picked up the victory as well. Eric pinned Jinder to earn the victory for his side. It looks like WWE is trying to build the Viking Raiders as it from Tag Team force.
Match 3 – WWE United States champion Damian Priest defeated Drew McIntyre and Sheamus in a triple threat match to retain
It was an amazing match. Probably the best match of the night. The match was booked for over 15 minutes. And all three competitors really did very well. The match was mainly built to push Priest who pinned Drew McIntyre with the swinging face first to pick up the victory. But honestly we believe Drew should have been protected and Priest should have pinned Sheamus.

A match was scheduled between Eva Marie and Doudrop but it could not officially start since Doudrop attacked Eva before the match ever started and beat Eva down. The referee had to call off the match.
Match 4 – Karrion Kross defeated Humberto Carrillo by submission.
The match cannot be called a square but it was mostly dominated by Karrion Kross. It would be interesting to see where Karrion Kross goes from here.
Match 5 – Nia Jax defeated Charlotte Flair
This was a huge shock. After beating almost everyone she could, she lost to Nia Jax who had not been doing very well recently. And the more shocking part was, it was a clean victory.
Match 6 – Omos defeated John Morrison
As everybody expected it was a squash. Morrison was completely manhandled by Omos in this match. Omos pinned Morrison with a two handed Chokeslam to earn the victory for himself.
Match 7 – AJ Styles defeated Xavier Woods by submission

A very rare victory for AJ Styles since the former three times WWE world champion does not win very much these days. But this was a submission victory so maybe WWE would decide to push him again. Styles made Woods submit with Calf Crusher.
Match 8 – WWE Raw Tag Team champions RK-Bro defeated MVP and Bobby Lashley to retain
We expected to see Goldberg making a surprise interference during this match but that did not happen. The match was quite good, however, the interferences were made by the former champions AJ Styles and Omos who were driven out by the champions. Riddle pinned MVP with the Floating Bro to earn the victory for his side. RK-Bro celebrated as this week Monday night RAW went off air.
This week Raw was a little weak compared to the recent episodes but it was not bad at all. There were some bad decisions throughout the episode such as Drew McIntyre not being protected, Charlotte losing clean to Nia, and Jinder jobbing. We give it 2.5 stars out of 5.
