This week’s RAW started as the WWE Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair came out to the arena for the first match of the night. Her opponent Nikki Cross followed her next. Footage from last week’s RAW was shown where Nikki Cross assaulted both Bianca and Bayley during their match. Seems like Nikki is playing her psycho gimmick once again.
Match 1 – WWE Raw Women’s champion Bianca Belair defeated Nikki Cross

This match was booked for six minutes. It was not a very good decision to have Nikki lose since it was her first match under the returning psycho gimmick. Since the Damage CTRL got involved into the match at the end, why not a double disqualification or a double count out finish?
Nikki Cross took out the whole team of Damage CTRL as it was shown last week that she is not a friend of either side. Bianca pinned her with the KOD after the assault. After the match, Damage CTRL started beating down both individuals as Asuka and Alexa Bliss came out to save them.
Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar were scheduled to have a studio discussion. Bobby Lashley was seen in the studio but Brock Lesnar decided to go to the ring and call out Lashley. As soon as Lashley entered the ring, a fight broke between the duo. Security guards and half of the rosters had to come out to stop them. there were from NXT stars too, Duke Hudson was seen among them. Even Triple H had to come out to stop them.
Match 2 – WWE United States champion Seth Rollins defeated Austin Theory
This match was booked for around 12 minutes and it was one of the best matches of the night. It was definitely a pay per view standard match and it was extremely entertaining. Seth Rollins at the end pinned Theory with the Stomp. We were expecting to see Mustafa Ali interfere in during the match but that did not happen.
WWE Undisputed Universal Heavyweight champion Roman Reigns came out to the arena. He adressed he is upcoming match with Logan Paul for the title at Crown Jewel. Paul Heyman also addressed the match. The Miz made a shocking interruption. He wanted to make a deal with Roman Reigns.
Miz asked Roman Reigns to help him to get rid of Lord Voldemort….. oh sorry, I mean the person who shall not be named, and Miz would help Roman Reigns against Logan Paul. He also warned him about the right hand of Paul. Roman Reigns did not like this proposal and knocked him out with the Superman Punch.
Match 3 – Karl Anderson defeated Damian Priest
This match was short, it was booked for only three and a half minutes and it ended before it could start, as it seemed. As Priest was preparing for his Reckoning finisher, Anderson countered it with a roll up and pinned him. It was not a bad match but very short.
After the match, The Judgment Day attacked the OC and a fight broke. OC was coming out as the stronger force but once again, the involvement of Rhea Ripley helped Judgment Day to master OC. Damian Priest kept on mimicking Scott Hall, he did his signature entrance pose as well as hitting the Outsider’s Edge.
The next segment featured JBL and Baron Corbin. It was another promotional segment for Corbin but this time there was no match for the former WWE United States champion. R Truth made an interference who got beaten down Corbin at the end.
Match 4 – Trick or Street Fight – Matt Riddle defeated Otis
This match was booked for only 4 and a half minutes but it was pretty entertaining. There were outside interferences is from Chad Gable and Elias which ultimately benefitted Riddle who pinned Otis with the RKO. The RKO was little botched since Otis was wearing a pumpkin mask, thanks to Elias.
Match 5 – Mustafa Ali defeated The Miz
This match was booked for around 6 minutes and it was a good match. Once again Dexter Lumis distracted Miz from the crowd as Mustafa Ali benefitted from it by attacking him with a Super Kick and ending up with the 450 Splash to pin him. It was a big victory for Mustafa Ali.
Backstage Johnny Gargano was interviewed by Byron Saxton where Gargano made a shocking claim by saying Miz was paying Dexter Lumis to do all the attacks. It was all pre-planned and presented an audio footage too. He claimed that Miz did all this just to get some recognition. He also claimed that Miz might have stopped paying Dexter and that is the reason why he is now after him in real.
Match 6 – WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship – Asuka and Alexa Bliss defeated Damage CTRL to become new champion
It was little shocking to be honest that the titles changed hands at this stage. It was pretty unpredictable as well. This was the longest match of the night with a 13 minute long duration and it was quite fun. Bayley and Bianca battling Each Other outside of the ring made it more fun. At the end, Alexa pinned Iyo Sky with the Twisted Bliss to earn the victory and the titles for her side. The new Women’s Tag Team Champions celebrated as this week’s RAW went off air.
Overall it was an average week of Monday Night RAW. There were some good Matches and a shocking title change, it was not a bad go home show. Even Roman Reigns made an appearance. But overall WWE failed to build The World Championship match for Crown Jewel where the champion is a part timer, and the Challenger is a bigger part timer.
They’re also trying to save the Dexter Lumis – Miz storyline, at least their trying to put some effort into it now. But it time is coming when fans will forget that there is a men’s Tag Team division in WWE as well. We give this week’s RAW 2 stars out of 5.
