Top Raw Superstar Alexa Bliss has been absent from Raw, for the past several months that’s been a headache for the creative team of the company. Her global fanbase was also not happy about her absence. With Royal Rumble inching closer, she’s resurfacing on WWE TV programming, sooner than later.
As per the first episode of Raw of 2022, Alexa Bliss is set to return on WWE programming. WWE announced this week before the main event match of Raw that we will be seeing see the female superstar’s journey back to RAW starting next Monday night. It seems like a series of vignettes will be released featuring the former champion which would be leading up to Bliss making her return to the storylines.

Alexa Bliss was defeated by Charlotte Flair at WWE Extreme Rules back in September which marked her last TV appearance. After the match, Flair destroyed Bliss’ doll, Lilly which appeared to be a storyline reason to write Bliss off of television. In a post-match interview, Flair said that ripping up the doll was a “wakeup call” for Bliss as she wanted the real version of the former champ back in the fold.

Charlotte Flair defeated Alexa Bliss at Extreme Rules
“The Alexa I faced was the old Alexa,” Charlotte said. “It was the Alexa I saw when she held the RAW Women’s Championship multiple times. [Sunday], she fought me and faced me. Yes, I’m still the Queen, but that’s the Lexi we all want to see. I don’t want to hear about Lilly.”
“Ripping up Lilly was a wakeup call. A wakeup call to remind her that she’s still a champion at heart.”
That being said, we can expect The Goddess version of Alexa Bliss to be back in the scene after a long wait. Over the past couple of years, she was portraying a Twisted Goddess persona which occurred after her identity was apparently hijacked by The Fiend Bray Wyatt in the summer of 2020.
Per the reports of Wrestling INC, Alexa Bliss was kept off Raw as she needed a sinus surgery to get done with. Now the speculation is that the old version of Bliss will be back on Raw, next week while she is most likely to make her in-ring return during the 30-Woman Royal Rumble Match, later this month.
