For the time being, top Raw Superstar Alexa Bliss is being touted to form yet another tag team. But WWE may not go forward with those plans since it would be repetitive. Rather, a heel turn may help the former champion to go back into the title picture, prominently after a long time.
On the July 11 edition of WWE Raw, Alexa Bliss teamed up with Asuka in a tag team match against Doudrop and Nikki A.S.H. During the match, commentator Corey Graves and the announcers mentioned on several occasions that how Bliss needed to revert back to the “ruthless version” of herself to get herself elevated to the top tier, yet again.

Graves also referenced the therapy segments from earlier this year that aired back in February so that she could get rid of the Lilly doll. Plus, he also added the following,
“I’m gonna catch some flak online, but this is not the same Alexa Bliss we saw pre-therapy. It’s like Alexa lost something, she lost a part of herself. Whatever it is, this is not the ruthless, dominant woman who reigned over WWE.”

Raw commentators want Alexa Bliss to become vicious
Then, Byron Saxton, the other Raw commentator suggested that Alexa Bliss should try out the different side of her character,
“Maybe Alexa has lost part of her motivation. I think it’s only a matter of time before she absolutely explodes. Who would discount what else she has in her arsenal?”
In the match on Raw, Alexa Bliss was the one to pick up the pinfall on behalf of her team. Asuka came off the ropes but Doudrop picked her ankle and pulled her to the floor. But Doudrop missed a senton on the floor while in the ring, and Bliss hit a DDT on Nikki to get the pin to win. Following the win, WWE has been teasing that the winning duo might just start teaming on a regular basis.
Back in 2016, Alexa Bliss debuted as a heel superstar on Smackdown and then on Raw in 2017. This run hand her multiple women’s titles but then she went through a massive character change following the cinematic match between Braun Strowman and The Fiend Bray Wyatt at Extreme Rules in 2020. Bliss’ alliance with Wyatt lasted until the latter was released after Wrestlemania 37 in 2021.
