The post-WrestleMania 38 edition of WWE Raw drew an average of 2.101 million viewers on the USA Network, according to the reports from Nielsen via Showbuzz Daily. This was a huge boost in ratings for the show which is generally touted to be the biggest Raw of the year. Also, the numbers were up by 6.16% from last week’s 1.979 million viewers which was a Wrestlemania Raw special.
This week’s episode of WWE Raw after WrestleMania 38 took place at the AT&T Center in Dallas, Texas which featured Cody Rhodes appearing for the first time since 2016. Plus, Roman Reigns also made his first appearance as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion to draw a 0.63 rating in the 18-49 demo along with the viewership which crossed the 2 million mark.

This was noted to be WWE RAW’s highest viewership since the January 4, 2021 episode of RAW Legends Night. The first hour drew 2.318 million viewers (last week’s hour 1 – 2.052 million), the second hour drew 2.114 million viewers (last week’s hour 2 – 2.100 million) and the final hour drew 1.871 million viewers (last week’s hour 3 – 1.786 million).

WWE Raw after Mania was one of the most watched shows
As noted in the reports, the first-hour viewership of WWE Raw After Mania was the best in over two years, since the March 16, 2020 episode, the first one with zero audiences amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The show featured the Royal Rumble Match airing in hours one and two while WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin appeared in hour three to celebrate the 3:16 Day.
Coming to comparison for WWE RAW After WrestleMania episodes, the post-WrestleMania 38 viewership was up 3.7% from the 2.026 million viewers for the post-WrestleMania 37 episode of Raw on April 12 in 2021. The post-WrestleMania 38 key demo rating has been down 7.35% from the 0.68 key demo rating of the post-WrestleMania 37 episode.
Apart from WWE Raw, the Wrestlemania Smackdown from last Friday also witnessed tremendous success as the show on FOX pulled in 2.36 million viewers with a .61 in the 18 to 49 demographic. This was up from the previous week’s 2.18 million viewers with a 0.49 rating. The March 11th episode of SmackDown brought in 2.133 million viewers with a .5 in the 18 to 49 demographic.
