The show started as John Cena’s music hit. But it was Miz and Maryse came out in the attire of John Cena and Nikki Bella. Like every time, Miz and Maryse made fun of John Cena and Nikki first. Then they revealed that they were now part of Monday Night Raw.
Next came the Intercontinental champion Dean Ambrose. The announcers told that Dean Ambrose was not a part of Raw. What the hell? Is it how you are organising this superstar shake up thing? Ambrose came out and made fun of Miz and Maryse by acting like he could not recognise them. Miz said that they were actually Miz and Maryse. Dean Ambrose nailed Miz with the Dirty Deeds.
Backstage Kurt Angle made a match between Sami Zayn and The Miz
Match 1 – The New Day vs. The Revival
It was a good tag team action. If you are a fan of tag team actions you should not miss this match. The match was booked for six minutes and the four minutes did a good job in this time period. Kofi Kingston did not show up as the Revival injured him last week. Xavier Woods attempted a double clothesline from the turnbuckle which the Revival countered in the Shatter Machine. Dash Wilder pinned Xavier Woods for the win. It’s a great instant push for the Revival as they defeated the New Day twice in a row.

Next pick for Raw from Smackdown was revealed who turned to be Curt Hawkins. Big Show came out to welcome him. Big Show came out to the ring and nailed Hawkins with the Knockout punch and left the ring.
Match 2 – Austin Aries vs. TJ Parkins
It was an average Cruiserweight action. As you expect high flying actions from the cruiserweight matches it did not mark anything such. TJ Parkins pinned Aries with a roll up pin. The match marked the heel turn of TJ Parkins as he allied with Neville.
Winner – TJ Parkins
Seth Rollins came out to the arena to address his fate. He thanked the fans of Raw as he said that he did not know if he could ever stand in the ring of Raw ever again. He talked about his match against Triple H at WrestleMania and his victory. He said after what he did to Stephanie at WrestleMania they would not want him at Raw. And it would be easier for him to go to Smackdown and stay there. But he would not go to Smackdown and he wanted to stay on Raw.
Raw general manager Kurt Angle came out. He revealed that Stephanie wanted him to go to Smackdown. But Angle saw something in him at WrestleMania that he never saw before. He defeated Triple H with one injured leg. So he wanted to keep Seth Rollins and he was staying. As Angle attempted to leave the ring, Samoa Joe attacked Rollins. Rollins came out stronger in this unofficial fight.
Match 3 – Charlotte Flair vs. Nia Jax
A heel vs. heel match, something not very common in wrestling. The match was really good. Charlotte hit a moonsault on Nia at outside of the ring which was a cool manoeuvre. Nia kicked out of the Natural Selection of Charlotte. Nia pinned Charlotte after the Samoan Drop and it was a clean win. The match marked a great push for Nia.
Winner – Nia Jax
Match 4 – Jinder Mahal vs. Finn Balor
The match had been booked for three minutes which was okay. It was a sheer dominance from Finn. A match against a jobber and no storyline might mean a move to Smackdown for Finn Balor.
Winner – Finn Balor
After the match, Bray Wyatt showed up on the screen. Come on Bray Wyatt is also on Raw? Then who would remain on Smackdown? They took almost everyone away, and Seth is not going anywhere either.
Apolo Crews Kalisto, Heath Slater and Rhyno also joined Raw who were shown on the titantron.
Match 5 – The Miz vs. Sami Zayn
It was an entertaining match but it was a very bad look for Miz. Miz kept cheating throughout the match but still he could not manage to win. Miz needed to win this match but he could not.
Winner – Sami Zayn
Roman Reigns was getting interviewed backstage by Michael Cole where he was attacked and beaten down by Braun Strowman. The most vicious thing in this attack was when Roman was taken out in an ambulance as Strowman flipped the ambulance. It was arguably the best backstage assault ever.
Match 6 – Eight Man Tag Team Action – The Shining Stars, Gallows and Anderson vs. Sheamus, Cesaro and the Raw tag team champions the hardy Boyz
It was an entertaining match. It was given five minutes where the babyface side dominated the match for most of the time. Jeff Hardy pinned Primo to pick up the victory for his team.
Sasha Banks came out to the arena. She introduced the Raw Women’s champion, Bayley. Bayley came out to the ring and thanked the fans, she said that whatever she was today was because of the fans. Sasha congratulated her asked for a title opportunity. Then they were interfered by Alexa Bliss; the newest draft pick of Raw. She entered the ring and said she was now a part of Raw. Mickie James came out and she was also drafted to Raw. Nia Jax attacked Mickie from behind, she entered the ring and beat down Bayley and Sasha too.
Main Event – Champion vs. Champion – WWE United States Champion Kevin Owens vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose
It was a good match. It was given a twelve minutes booking. Both wrestlers performed really well. Kevin Owens’ work has to be praised. Ambrose pinned Owens with a sudden dirty deeds. Owens dominated the most part of the match but Ambrose picked up the win. After the match, Jericho came out and beat down Owens.
