WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch will be in action on this year’s WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view. The champion will be defending her title against a yet-to-be-decided opponent, next week.
As announced this week from WWE RAW, the show will feature Liv Morgan vs. Bianca Belair vs. Doudrop in a Triple Threat match. The winner of that match will become the new number-one contender to Lynch for a title match at The Rumble.

During the January 3 episode of the show, Becky Lynch appeared to cut a promo following her Day 1 title win. But Bianca Belair and Liv Morgan attacked the WWE RAW Women’s Champion in the ring as they both wanted a title match opportunity. Bianca and Liv then started brawling. Bianca was about to hit the KOD maneuver on Liv, but Becky interfered and laid out Belair with the Manhandle Slam to end the segment.
Then in a backstage segment, WWE Official Sonya Deville announced that next week it will be Liv Morgan vs. Bianca Belair vs. Doudrop in a Triple Threat Match and the winner will face Becky Lynch for WWE RAW Women’s Championship at Royal Rumble 2022.

WWE Raw Women’s Title to be defended at Royal Rumble
As noted, Becky Lynch has retained her title over Morgan at Saturday’s WWE Day 1 pay-per-view. While Belair and Morgan fought for their title shots, Doudrop later confronted Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville, demanding her own shot. That’s how the Triple Threat was made official.
That being said, Liv Morgan will receive yet another opportunity to move into the title match, next week and then head into the Rumble. The 2022 edition of the Royal Rumble will take place on January 29 from The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Check out the updated card,
