Charlotte Flair is considered to be one of the best female athletes to have ever performed in a WWE ring. Over the years, she had established a standard of her own by winning championships one after another. Also, the top feuds against the likes of Asuka, Ronda Rousey, Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch made her a pioneer figure.
We haven’t seen Charlotte Flair on WWE TV over the past several months and her absence does create a major void for the company’s female roster. The likes of Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks are already out of the scene due to separate reasons as WWE expected to have Flair back by the fall of 2022. But that’s not the case as she is still dealing with personal matters.
Wrestlemania 39: Charlotte Flair Scheduled To Beat Top Champion At WWE PLE
The initial reason for Charlotte Flair going into a hiatus from WWE TV was due to her scheduled marriage to Andrade El Idolo. She herself wanted time off for the special occasion. The wedding took place a few months ago and Andrade has been back on AEW television while his wife is yet to make an appearance on WWE programming.
Andrade appeared during an interview with Mas Lucha where he revealed that Charlotte Flair asked for extended absence due to undisclosed personal reasons,
“It is difficult at the same time because Ashley (Charlotte Flair) has time off due to personal reasons, and she will specify them in future interviews. It was very heavy because she worked on Thursdays to work on Weekends while I traveled on Tuesdays and returned on Thursdays as soon as she was scheduled to leave. Right now, we are good because I get to see her more. I hope she comes back soon.”

Charlotte Flair pulled out from an upcoming convention
The 13-time women’s champion recently teased a potential return during an episode of WWE’s Most Extreme Moments Countdown special on FOX. This started speculations of her showing up at the Extreme Rules premium live event in October but that wasn’t the case.
Rather, Charlotte Flair took to Twitter on this past Friday night to announce that she was pulling out of her scheduled appearance for an autograph signing session. The multi-time champion did not reveal why she won’t appear at The Big Event as she stated the following,
“Hey guys! I was so excited to see everyone this weekend at the @bigeventny with @FitermanSports , but I am not able to make the signing. I promise I’ll see you soon ❤️ I miss all of you ??
ps you can go say hi to my hubby”
Charlotte Flair lost in an I Quit Match against Ronda Rousey at Wrestlemania Backlash to drop the SmackDown Women’s Title to The Baddest Woman on the Planet. This was the last time that the former Smackdown Women’s Champion appeared on WWE television.
