Speculations of Edge getting written of WWE Raw by Judgment Day became true as the group offered a heinous attack to the veteran, last night. The WWE Hall of Famer was originally scheduled to feature in the main event match against Dominik but he ended up suffering an ambush.
Before heading into the match on WWE Raw, Dominik cut a backstage promo about stepping out of his father Rey Mysterio’s shadow, for good. Rhea Ripley whispered something in Dominik’s ear before accompanying him to the ring for the match.

Dominik dodged a Spear and applied a Half Crab submission in the middle of the ring. Edge got rid of it and tied Dominik’s arms to the top rope before unloading punches to his face. Edge readied to hit Dominik with a spear but Rey Mysterio arrived at the scene and begged Edge to back down.
Judgment Day entered the ring and beat Edge down to cause the disqualification into the match. Dominik took a steel chair and started bashing Edge over and over in the already injured knee with the steel chair. Balor then hit the Coup de Grace to plant the final nail on Edge’s knee. Judgment Day posed in the ring amid loud boos from the audience as WWE Raw went off the air.

Judgment Day also targeted Riddle on WWE Raw
Before taking out Edge, Judgment Day also tried to recruit the newest member from the WWE Raw roster. In the opening segment, Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle were featured in a brawl. After Rollins managed to escape to the back, Finn Balor and Damian Priest of The Judgment Day approached the ring to confront Riddle as they wanted the latter to join the faction.
Balor obviously turned down Judgment Day’s offer and floored Balor with a vicious knee to the face. Balor sold a jaw injury at ringside to end the segment after which he faced Riddle in a singles contest and also beat him. Thanks to outside interference from Rollins, Balor got the win via a Coup de Grace in the opening match of WWE Raw. Rollins also attacked Riddle with a Stomp, after the match.
As learned from the sequences, Judgment Day will be in the controller’s position on WWE Raw for the time being. With Edge possibly out of action following the attack, they’d possibly move into their next target.
