WWE RAW – Kevin Owens On WWE Creative Team

After he lost the feud against Roman Reigns we could never get back the main event status once again in Friday Night Smackdown. In fact SmackDown failed to book him properly anyway. He did not even get a regular mid card booking either.

Finally, he has arrived to Monday night RAW as a part of this year’s draft lottery of WWE. Instantly he had been elevated to the main event status as he is currently involved in a story line with Seth Rollins and the WWE Champion Big E. It looks like he will soon be given a chance to win the WWE Championship. He may not get the title but he would get one or more title opportunities for sure.

As of the storyline stands, it looks like he is turning heel now. He went on playing a babyface role for quite a long time. A lot of fans wanted to see him on a babyface role since he was an excellent babyface during his Ring of Honor days.

But WWE failed to book his babyface run properly. The funny part is he could never win a single title while being a babyface in WWE. But as a heel he won multiple championships. So it is a good decision to turn him heel again. Maybe now he would get some proper bookings.

Kevin Owens who is also a former three timed WWE United States champion recently spoke to TVA Sports’ wrestling podcast, les Anti-Pods de la Lutte, with Pat Laprade and Kevin Raphael where he talked about the creative team of WWE. He also revealed how he remained relevant. He said;

“I always try to give to the show what I’m being asked to give. I try to give them what they want, in a way that fans will appreciate it and will be able to say that even if they watched one of my matches and thought that it should have not finished the way it did, that they thought it was a good match anyway. That’s what I want. I want to give good matches. So that’s how I’m able to always have an important role to play on the show.”
