Kevin Owens has literally been doing nothing for the past few months on WWE programming. But things are likely to change for him for good after what transpired during this week’s Raw. He went berserk and turned into a villain, a move that was expected for a long time to improvise his on-screen character.

In the main event of this week’s WWE Raw episode from the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky, Seth Rollins defeated Kevin Owens via count-out. With WWE Champion Big E sitting at ringside, things finally reached a boiling point when Rollins beat KO via count-out as he ran into the ring to beat the referee’s count.

Kevin Owens also ran into the ring but his path was briefly blocked by E. The former Universal Champion then finally snapped on E, attacking him and finally nailing him with a powerbomb on the ring apron, a signature move of his. The officials ran down to stop him as he stood tall to end the show.

As seen in the past, Kevin Owens has found more success in the WWE as a heel in the past. His latest babyface run started in mid-2019 when he began feuding with Shane McMahon. Since then, the Canada-native has been involved in programs with stars like Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Sami Zayn.

In recent times, the contract situation for Owens with the WWE has been a talking point as sources suggest that his deal with the company will be up in early 2022. No negotiation for stretching the deal out has begun, as of this writing.
