Braun Strowman, the prime babyface of WWE Raw was not booked for Backlash, until now. He has won the Greatest Royal Rumble match which promised to give him even bigger things in the future.

However, going forward from Wrestlemania, he was not booked in a proper feud culminating any match. For now, the WWE officials came up with a good solution.

As of the recent announcement, Strowman will be part of a tag team match at Backlash. He will team up with another behemoth of the flagship show, Bobby Lashley.

Their team will take on the heel duo of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at the Backlash PPV. This match was scheduled in an interesting way as per the happenings on WWE Raw.

Two weeks ago on WWE Raw, the upcoming match was held for the very first time. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn ran their mouth for a long time against Kurt Angle.

So, they found themselves in a match against Lashley and Strowman. Needless to say that these two monsters bulldozed their way to the victory with great ease.

They punished Sami Zayn so much that he was unable to compete at the Greatest Royal Rumble match, as well. On this week’s WWE Raw,

Owens and Zayn were forced to compete in another tag team match to get punished by these two and Roman Reigns. After getting ambushed by the babyfaces, once again, they now have the chance to seek retribution at Backlash.

WWE.com confirmed the match with the following comments,

“At WWE Backlash, newly-crowned Greatest Royal Rumble Champion Braun Strowman will join forces with Bobby Lashley as they attempt to dismantle Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn.

Owens & Zayn are truly as dangerous as they are devious, but will they find a way to survive the wrath of their destructive opponents? Find out this Sunday at 8 ET/7 PT at WWE Backlash, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network!”

This is a good way to book all these four names at the upcoming PPV event.

Previously, not any one of them featured in a feud. Hence, pitting them in tag match will utilize them in the best way.

Moroever, keeping Strowman the night off at Backlash would be a crime.

Strowman is heading into the main event picture, again and the favorite to win this confirmed match on this Sunday night.
