One half of the current WWE Raw Tag Team Champions Matt Riddle who is also a former WWE United States champion recently talked about the origin of his current tag team RK-Bro. He also revealed who came up with the idea of this famous Tag Team.
Riddle has been very impressive since the very first day he joined WWE. After an amazing career on the mixed martial art platform, he came to the world of professional wrestling back in 2014. He spent four years on the independent circuit first before joining the WWE in 2018. He was first given a try to work in the NXT, which was the development territory of WWE. On the very first day office NXT career he has been extremely impressive.

In his two years of NXT career, he won the NXT Tag Team Championship along with Pete Dunne one time. In 2020 he came to the WWE main roster during the covid-19 pandemic era. Once again he did not fail to impress the fans. From the very first day of joining main roster she has been very impressive and fans really loved him.
At the Elimination Chamber pay per view event, he challenged the then WWE United States champion Bobby Lashley along with John Morrison in a triple threat match. He won his first and only singles title in that match, which however he dropped against Sheamus at WrestleMania 37. After that he focused on Tag Team wrestling where he paired with the former fourteen times WWE world champion Randy Orton.

At first, it looks like and unlikely Tag Team where the pair could not co exist together at all. But slowly they grew chemistry in themselves and they defeated the previous WWE Raw Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Omos. They are famously address by the fans as RK-Bro. Currently the team is holding the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship quite dominantly and fans are loving their work.
Matt Riddle who is also a former WWE United States champion recently spoke to Peter Rosenberg’s “Cheap Heat” podcast where he talked about the origin of his current tag team RK-Bro. He also revealed who came up with the idea of this famous Tag Team. He said;

“I mentioned it about a month or so before it actually happened. I mentioned it to some of the writers and some of the boys in the back. They all proceeded to laugh at me when I said, ‘How cool would RK-Bro be?’ Most of the things I do, I try to talk to the writing team and I try to talk to the camera crew.
“I try to talk to everybody and have fun with everybody. I noticed by doing that, my coworkers learn my mannerisms, they learn how I talk, my dialect I guess. They can do things better for me. RK-Bro, I brought it up, wishful thinking and it got laughed at. I was like, oh that will never happen. A couple weeks later, Randy didn’t have an opponent and I didn’t have an opponent, and we made it happen.”
