Last week Raw had a better show to offer. It had a great promo from Alexa Bliss, an amazing triple threat match from Seth Rollins, Miz and Finn Balor. It marked the beginning of some new feuds and some feuds got greater continuations. So what to expect from this week?
Alexa Bliss performed an amazing promo last week, addressing all the women on the Raw roster. They had an eight woman tag team match where Alexa pinned Bayley again. We have heard the rumours of the continuation of this feud between Bayley and Alexa for two more months or so.
But Bayley is heard to be injured and the seriousness of the injury is not confirmed yet. Hopefully, we will get the answers regarding her injury on this week’s Raw.
Miz will now be seen feuding for the Intercontinental championship after winning the triple threat no 1 contender’s match last week. We had been constantly saying that it is an unwanted feud. These two already had a feud at Smackdown, and when superstars change their brands we always seek for fresh feuds. So there is not much to gain from this feud. Plus, Smackdown was building this feud in a better way, on Raw, it is not much exciting.
Let us see how the build this up here.
They restarted Seth Rollins – Samoa Joe feud last week. The build up of this feud had been seriously poor since WrestleMania and at the Payback, they performed a really boring match.
The match was good as a technical showcase but not very good to watch. They need to build this feud in a better way. These two are top wrestlers of the company, and having them in a feud should be a huge thing. But the lack of good storyline making it just another ignorable feud.
Another feud that started last week was the Bray Wyatt – Finn Balor feud. Looks like this feud will involve the authority too if we keep Bray’s confrontation with Kurt Angle in mind. This can be an excellent feud. This is a feud that everyone wanted to see. But one thing they need to do well is writing a good story for this feud. In most cases, Bray attacks people for no reason and they just a start a feud.
In this case, such a thing should not happen. They should give some valid reason behind this attack to make it a legit feud.
Finally, we need to talk about the feud between Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns. We think they should not show up this week or in next two – three weeks. This would be good for the image of this feud and it will make both of them look quite a serious deal.
