Being a popular WWE superstar of this modern generation, Paige remains to trend on social media among professional wrestling fans. She herself is also quite active on different platforms and also keeps in touch with them. So the fact that WWE hasn’t utilized her on TV for quite a long time wasn’t left unnoticed by her global fanbase.

A wrestling fan page posted a tweet that informed that 750+ days had passed since Paige was seen in the WWE ring. Since the original tweet was posted on April 17th the number of absences has subsequently grown.

Almost five months later on the March 26 episode of Smackdown, the anti-diva made a via satellite appearance to announce the Smackdown Women’s Championship match for the then champion, Bayley.

Paige noticed the fact pointed out by the fan as she gave a “WHAT” reaction. The veteran UK wrestler herself seemed to be taken aback by the fact.

Paige wasn’t released from WWE contract despite being inactive

Over the past couple of years, WWE’s unused superstars were released one after another to get rid of the extra burden, especially during the COVID-19 phase. Surprisingly, Paige has managed to stay which just proves that she is a fan as well as the company’s favorite superstar. Only a few months are left in her current contract and it will be interesting to see whether WWE brings her back on TV within that timespan.

Paige hasn’t wrestled since a tag team match with Sasha Banks in December 2017 after getting injured. This eventually led to her retirement from in-ring competition and her absence is felt by many.

After all, she’s the only female superstar in WWE history to hold the NXT and Divas Championships, at the same time. Plus, Daniel Bryan and WWE Hall of Famer Edge had made comebacks from a similar injury to the 29-year-old superstar. Hence, there’s still a possibility of seeing her back in the ring, down the road.
