Next week, WWE Raw will feature a huge Steel Cage match in the main event segment when it airs from the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia. This will be a rematch from Wrestlemania 38 as Bobby Lashley and Omos collides in a so-called rubber match.
The post WrestleMania Backlash edition of WWE Raw saw MVP hosting a special edition of The VIP Lounge with Omos being his guest. He demanded everyone to show respect to Omos but the crowd responded with boos. MVP continued to talk about the feud between Omos and Lashley until Cedric Alexander hit the ring and mentioned how “we” got the win at WrestleMania Backlash and “we” did everything else.
MVP wasn’t interested in the “we” talk when the music interrupted and an angry Lashley came out. Lashley took out VIP Lounge security guards standing at ringside on WWE Raw before taking out Alexander as he took a leap off the apron. Lashley entered the ring and had a face-off with Omos, which led to a brawl between the two.

Lashley eventually clotheslined Omos to the floor and then had a confrontation with MVP. He intended to attack MVP but Cedric Alexander jumped on his back, allowing MVP to retreat. Lashley then took Alexander out before punishing him with The Hurt Lock finisher as Omos and MVP watched from ringside to end the segment on WWE Raw.
Bobby Lashley vs. Omos rematch set for May 16 WWE Raw
Bobby Lashley was later interviewed backstage on WWE Raw, where he said he wanted to have Omos trapped inside a Steel Cage next week. The confirmation about the match soon came from WWE via their official website as well as posts on social media.

Meanwhile, next week’s WWE Raw will be the third match between Lashley and Omos which should also mark the end of their ongoing feud. Lashley defeated Omos at WrestleMania 38 in April in their first bout while Omos secured the win at this Sunday’s WrestleMania Backlash event. The Steel Cage match held next week will be the rubber match with the score currently being 1-1.
