Professional wrestling fans were elated to see two former Bullet Club members, Finn Balor and AJ Styles getting reunited on WWE Raw. It was an unexpected scene for the WWE Universe as the two former champions got back together in an attempt of thwarting a top heel faction.
As seen on WWE Raw, Finn Balor came out to save AJ Styles from a beatdown at the hands of Edge and Damian Priest of The Judgment Day stable. As the two heel superstars retreated from the ring, both men raised their arms and did the signature Kliq/nWo/Bullet Club gesture.
For those who don’t know, Finn Balor was the founder of the heel faction in the NJPW faction while Styles replaced Balor in the stable for several years between 2014 and 2016 in the wrestling promotion from Japan. The two never had a reunion in the WWE as a team but they did have a solid match at WWE TLC 2017 without any kind of builds since Balor’s original opponent, Bray Wyatt was ruled out of the match.

WWE Raw turned the tide in favor of AJ Styles
Before the reunion took place on WWE Raw, Styles wrestled Priest in a match in a singles encounter with the stipulation being that Priest would be banned from ringside at WrestleMania Backlash 2022 if he lost. Priest eventually lost the bout but Edge came out for a post-match attack on Styles. It was then that Balor ran in to make the save.
Edge defeated AJ Styles dream match took place for the first time at Wrestlemania 38 where Edge became victorious via distraction from Damian Priest. The rematch between the two has now been made, official for Wrestlemania Backlash 2022 in a marquee match from WWE Raw brand. Balor could get involved in the storyline since he’s currently doing nothing since losing the US title to Theory.
