Brock Lesnar is certainly one of the most dominant professional wrestlers in the history of the industry. After staying with the WWE for over a decade, he had accomplished almost everything that a wrestler could possibly ask for. His match against Bobby Lashley at Crown Jewel was another occasion from which the fans anticipated something special from him but that wasn’t the case.
At WWE Crown Jewel, Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar kicked off the premium live event in the big way possible as they battled in a one-on-one capacity. But things didn’t end between the two in the expected capacity.
WWE Wrestlemania 39: Dream Matches Set For Charlotte Flair And Becky Lynch?
As seen in Crown Jewel, Brock Lesnar won the match after countering The Hurt Lock by falling on top of his opponent but this move simply looked like a botch. This could have been the original plan by the WWE to set up a future match but fans were simply not happy with how WWE wasted such a big match on an international show.
Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley feud to continue on Raw
It certainly appears that Crown Jewel was not the last time that we have seen Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the third match between these two powerhouses is in store which is “natural” from the storyline perspective.
Originally, the third match was supposed to go down on WWE Day on January 1. But since this PPV has been canceled, there’s no confirmation available on the third encounter,
“The story of the match is that Lashley totallly dominated him, but Brock Lesnar won the match. It leads to they’re one and one now and there’s a natural third match. I don’t know if they’re going to save it for WrestleMania, or I don’t know when. Originally it was gonna ba Day 1, but obviously that’s out. I don’t know if they’ll do it at Survivor Series, I’m not sure where they’ll do it. They may do it in Montreal, or they may save it for Mania.”
As reported earlier, Lashley is having a tough time dealing with the loss at the hands of Brock Lesnar. After getting stopped by Bryon Saxton for an interview, he showed frustrations over the loss and even doubted to ‘Quit’ and ‘Give Up.’ More on the story should be available on the coming episode of WWE Raw.
