As reported earlier, several WWE Raw, Smackdown and NXT superstars reportedly lost their jobs in another massive round of cuts that took place, last night. The released names go as follows, Karrion Kross, Scarlett Boudreaux, “B-Fab” Briana Brandy, Gran Metalik, Lince Dorado, Eva Marie, Keith Lee, Mia Yim, Nia Jax, Harry Smith, Oney Lorcan, Franky Monet, Ember Moon, Trey Baxter, Jessi Kamea, Jeet Rama, Zayda Ramier, and Katrina Cortez.
As you can see the list contains several former champions from WWE NXT and WWE Raw who could have shone brightly in the future. Plus, there have been several mainstay names that were cut down from the roster without any prior indication. Eva was one of those names who lost her spot after WWE unthinkably cut her off the roster.

While WWE never confirmed the release of Eva, Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp has informed that she was a part of this week’s cuts. This was a bit of a shock considering that she was just brought back on WWE Raw after a hiatus of five years. Plus, they’ve hyped her return in a massive way, earlier this year.
WWE Raw Star Eva is involved in a movie project
Although Eva has never been considered to be a championship material on WWE Raw, she was a big attention-seeker on social media. Following her return, she kept on trending on Twitter for a few days, showing that she’s capable of keeping herself in discussion with the minimum effort, possible. She hasn’t commented on the release but rather promoted her next big movie release by sharing a poster.
Prior to her release, the pink-haired Diva was written off WWE Raw after an attack by Shayna Baszler. A recent issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that she was currently working on another project, possibly the movie about which details are yet to arrive. It is unclear exactly what project it is.
Following her WWE Raw return, Eva was mostly associated with Doudrop in a friend-turned-foe angle. While speaking to GiveMeSport, Doudrop had the following to say about her former mentor,
“But I didn’t actually know that me and Eva would be working together until the week before my debut and I remember getting the call. Yeah, I got the call and they’re like ‘you are going to be working with Eva Marie’, and I was like ‘What? I thought she retired.”
