WWE has been promoting a solid future for Veer Mahaan, the next potential huge superstar from India. The post-Draft “coming soon” teaser vignettes for the Indian name has been airing on Raw for a long time, indicating that the creative team could have some big plans around him.

Former WWE Million Dollar Champion Virgil has now showered praise on Veer Mahaan, comparing the new RAW Superstar to none other than Brock Lesnar. Through a recent Instagram post, Virgil mentioned how he hasn’t been this excited for a WWE debut like this since The Ascension tag team debuted on the main roster.

“You ain’t never gonna meet a bigger Veer guy. Haven’t been this excited since the Ascension got signed. You see Veer was my creation. It’s a spin-off of Veergil. So basically he pays homage to the chutney killah who drips beefy beef all day. Pasanda and Pasta bay bay. Let’s watch the next Brock Lesnar whiff his a** into stardom. Thoughts????”

As noted, WWE began airing vignettes hyping up the debut of Veer Mahaan, dated back in November. Over the past few weeks, more vignettes have aired on RAW, but no confirmed word was released on his debut as he kept on working in Main Event tapings.

Veer Mahaan’s late arrival is a mystery for fans

Lance Storm recently poked fun at WWE delaying Veer Mahaan’s debut with the following statement, “Is he walking to RAW…..from India?” Some of the WWE Universe also discussed the same delay around the former Indus Sher member. In most of those such instances from the past, WWE ended up ruining those superstars’ status. Hopefully, nothing such would happen to the next Indian big name.

After being called up with Shanky, earlier in the summer, Veer Mahaan picked up three straight singles wins – he defeated Drew Gulak on the July 1 edition of Main Event, defeated Jeff Hardy on the July 8 edition of Main Event, and then defeated Drew McIntyre via DQ on the July 26 RAW.

Veer initially debuted on NXT by the name of Rinku Singh as part of the Indus Sher with Saurav Gurjar. The latter was reportedly let go amid the COVID-19 pandemic-related releases as his partner awaits a bright future on Raw.
