It was an emotional scene on the post-Wrestlemania episode of Monday Night Raw where we saw one of WWE’s trusted shoulders leaving the company. Dean Ambrose is the concerned name who walked away from the company as his contract came to an end. Perhaps, no one else on the history of the WWE has received such an openly accepted farewell as the contract issue was in public eyes.

Is Daniel Bryan retiring?

Earlier in 2019, WWE issued the following statement to confirm that the former champion, Dean Ambrose will not renew his contract and leave in April when the deal expires,

“Dean Ambrose (Jonathan Good) will not be renewing his contract with WWE when it expires in April. We are grateful and appreciative of all that Dean has given to WWE and our fans. We wish him well and hope that one day Dean will return to WWE.”

That’s what exactly happened on the post-Mania episode when we lost the Lunatic Fringe, Dean Ambrose of the WWE for good. It was always good to see the former champion’s crazy antics on TV. With him being gone, WWE Raw will not be the same again. However, things have been a bit strange during this particular departure which still leaves the room for a comeback.

A shocking report surfaced on the internet courtesy of cagesideseats.com that may please the fans. The rumor roundup section of the website claimed that WWE has the contract intact with Dean Ambrose throughout the month of April. So despite the creative team removing him from the storylines, he may just find a way to return as early as possible.

The source hinted that the upcoming live event schedule of WWE is still featuring Dean Ambrose that means the fans in attendance will still get to see him in action, at least for this month. So it was his last goodbye on WWE television but he still may be part of the house-shows and live events. However, WWE bookings can alter in due course.

Apart from this one, several speculations are available on the internet that claims that Dean Ambrose might have not left WWE, at all. He might just be taking a sabbatical from the company and is likely to return in a couple of months. However, some more reports claim that All Elite Wrestling is already targeting to get him with a lucrative deal. Only Ambrose knows what’s waiting for him, next.
