LA Knight is indeed one of the most famous stars of WWE right now. Some fans given believe that he is the most over wrestler in the promotion today. In a very short amount of time, he earned massive fame from the WWE universe. Today the fans just loved seeing him, and they love it more when he cuts his promo.
But his main roster career did not start in a very good way. He was not a top star of the NXT either. When he was promoted to the main roster last year, he was mostly treated as a manager of the Maximum Male Models faction. He was also renamed as Max Dupri. It never looked like he would have a big push in the main roster ever.

But Knight proved everyone wrong when slowly he became the most over wrestler of WWE today. It never seemed WWE had any big plans for the wrestler. Whatever he earned today is all his hard work and credibility. He was destined to be either a manager or a lower mid card in the promotion. If he is getting over with the fans today, it is definitely an achievement.
Knight himself claimed once that WWE did not have any big plans for him and he was forced to work as a manager because there were concerns about his age prior to his main roster debut. Last month he spoke to Daily Mail when he was slowly becoming the most over wrestler of the promotion. He explained how there was concerns about his age;

“The age thing comes up – [whispers] ‘Oh no, he’s 40, danger’. But I’m not the average 40-year-old. I haven’t gone through the ringer. I haven’t had a bunch of surgeries or injuries. Knock on that wood. I’ve lived a good, youthful life in a certain sense and I’ve taken care of myself in a way I would say most don’t.”
But the big push for Knight has still not started and he is not even winning his matches either. The fans are getting pretty much frustrated with the way their favorite star is being treated in WWE. Last Friday at SmackDown Knight failed to win the US Championship invitational which has been a matter of vexation for the fans.
However recent reports from PW Torch claim that WWE still has big plans for the megastar and his push is pretty much imminent. He is not getting featured on the SummerSlam card but the site claimed that he would get a big push after the Biggest party of the Summer. It is definitely great news for his fans and we seriously hope that he gets what he deserves.
