The pair of Karrion Kross and Scarlett was touted to be the future of WWE NXT as well as the main roster, given their potential. Within a time span of a year, Kross eventually became a two-time NXT Champion which was a big indication that he was going to be a force to be reckoned with in the company. However, things changed in due course.
A lot of changes have been noted in the NXT since the last time Scarlett Bordeaux appeared on its weekly television show, every Tuesday night. A rebooted NXT 2.0 version debuted in September, introducing a new logo, a color scheme, and a new overall look in the arena. Many of the stars of the original black-and-gold brands are disappearing from the show to put over fresh faces.

Scarlett apparently had to comment on supporting her current friends from the NXT brand despite her absence. “It’s different,” she said during a virtual meet and greet hosted by The Asylum Wrestling Store. “And I always want to support my friends who are on there. Like, I love so many people in the company. Like, genuinely, would take a bullet for people in that company. So, it’s different but I hope they do well with it.”

Scarlett had a great time on NXT
Scarlett Bordeaux mainly featured as Karrion Kross’ manager during his run in NXT. As noted, he won the NXT Championship on two separate occasions, and his real-life girlfriend was in his corner for both of those title wins. Then she was released on November 4th with Kross. While Kross was still making appearances on Raw, it’s been months that we have seen his ladylove on WWE TV.
“I wasn’t stressed because NXT is awesome,” Scarlett seemed hopeful about having a bright future after WWE. “It really was. But I was bored for the last six months. So obviously, I wasn’t really doing very much. And I’m excited for the first time in a really long time, and I’m happy and I feel joy. Like, I felt content at WWE but now I feel joy and excitement.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)
For no whatsoever reason, Scarlett disappeared from WWE television over the summer. She had to leave behind the WWE’s developmental system when Karrion Kross was called up to the main roster. Over time, Kross struggled to find a place on RAW. With speculations around their future, WWE ended up releasing the two promising superstars alongside many other talents in late 2021.
