WWE Superstar Jimmy Uso has been arrested for DUI, last night. The Smackdown roster member was pulled over on Monday at around 10:35 pm ET in Pensacola, Florida, the home state for him and Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Police said that he ran a red light, clocked going 50 mph in a 35 mph zone, according to records and TMZ.

Police records also showed that during subsequent questioning, officers smelled alcohol on Jimmy Uso who was then asked to exit his Dodge Charger. Police noticed that Uso was in an unstable state as he admitted that he had consumed “multiple” beers before getting behind the wheel.

Afterward, Jimmy Uso failed sobriety tests and was arrested. Police say Uso’s BAC breath tests came back at .202 and .205, well above the legal limit of .08 in the state of Florida. Uso was then booked on a misdemeanor DUI charge who incarcerated with a $500 bond. He also received citations for speeding and running a red light.

Jimmy Uso was bailed out of jail

This is Jimmy Uso’s second DUI charge in the last two years as he also went behind the bars for similar charges in July 2019, in Pensacola. A jury later found him not guilty in that case, despite police video showing that he was stumbling during the arrest. Uso was also arrested in early 2019 after allegedly getting into a drunken dispute with police in Detroit, Michigan.

In an update from the situation, Escambia County court records show that Jimmy Uso was bailed out of jail 9 am ET local time in Florida after posting a $500 bond. The Escambia County Clerk of Court office does not have the WWE Superstar’s court date on file, as of this writing as they are awaiting the arrest report. More updates on the situation should be available as time progresses.

At present, Jimmy Uso is featuring on SmackDown in the main event storyline with WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns also featuring WWE Hall of Famer Edge. There is no word yet on how this will impact his status with the company but WWE officials are not happy with Uso, per WrestleVotes. It was stated that “high level people in power are extremely disappointed and legitimately pissed off” at Uso for this latest arrest.
