This week’s Smackdown started as Edge entered the arena. Edge loathed Adam Pearce for including Daniel Bryan into the Universal title match at WrestleMania 37. He said it was only his opportunity. And he also said that he would not care who stands in his WrestleMania, he would destroy anyone.
Match 1 – WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode, and Chad Gable & Otis defeated The Street Profits and Rey Mysterio & Dominik Mysterio in an eight-man tag team match

Pretty entertaining match up and it was booked for around ten minutes including entrances. Everyone has been given good booking time in the short period and that is nice. In the end, Otis pinned Montez Ford of the Street Profits with a body splash to earn the victory for his side.
Seth Rollins and Cesaro were interviewed by Corey Graves inside the ring. This promo was pretty fun to watch and it was a good promotion for their match at WrestleMania 37. Seth was pretty good at this segment. The face-off got heated at the end but they did not fight. The segment ended as Seth walked away.
Match 2 – Natalya defeated one half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team champion Shayna Baszler
Really poor match. There was absolutely no reason to booking something foolish. It portrayed Shayna as a terribly weak wrestler. She was pinned by Natalya with a roll-up pin. The main match was only booked for 30 seconds. After the match, Shayna and Nia attacked Natalya and her partner Tamina. The Riott Squad, Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke, Naomi & Lana got involved in the match and they fought each other. All scenario was for the Women’s tag team titles.
Sami Zayn entered the arena to organize the much-awaited segment. He welcomed everyone for his ‘red carpet trailer release’ for his documentary on the conspiracy theory against him. He then welcomed Logan Paul. Paul came out and entered the ring. Zayn talked about the conspiracy theory and Paul agreed with him. Then he asked Paul to accompany him at WrestleMania against Kevin Owens and Paul agreed.
Zayn then showed the trailer of his documentary on the big screen. The name of the documentary was Justice for Sami. Honestly, it was pretty fun. Paul then said that Owens approached him when he was in the locker room and said that there was no conspiracy. Zayn said he did not care about what Owens thought about him. Suddenly, Owens entered the ring and knocked Zayn out with a stunner. He left the ring and Paul spellbound.
Backstage Owens was getting interviewed and Sami Zayn attacked him and beat him down.
Match 3 – Bianca Belair defeated Carmella
The match was given a five minutes booking time and there was nothing else except promoting Bianca Belair. In the end, Belair pinned Carmella with the Kiss of Death finishing manoeuvre. After the match, Sasha entered the ring and they both face off each other.
Next up is the backstage promotion for Big E and Apollo Crews’ WrestleMania match for the IC title featuring Apollo where he talked about his match and challenged Big E in a Nigerian Drum Fight.
Match 4 – Daniel Bryan defeated Jey Uso by submission in a street fight
The match was given a ten minutes booking time and it was a pretty entertaining match. Edge was in the commentary table during the match. WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns was on the isle too watching the match. It was a pretty physical match, there were steel chairs and steel chains.
In the end, Bryan made Jey submit with Yes Lock. After the match, Bryan attacked Edge and beat him down. He then attacked Roman Reigns and knocked him out with the Yes Lock. In the end, Bryan stood in the arena with signature Yes chants as the show went off the air.
