This week’s SmackDown was the go home show for the Backlash pay per view event that is going to take place tomorrow and this show was nothing but a hype package for backlash. It almost had nothing else to offer. There were some questionable things announced too. Let us talk about everything that happened in this episode of Friday Night Smackdown.
For the first segment of the night, the whole faction of LWO. Since the show was in Puerto Rico, the 95% of this whole promo segment was in Spanish. We apologize to our readers since we are not educated enough to translate what they have said in this promo segment.

But we can confirm one thing that it was all about their upcoming matches that are going to take place at Backlash tomorrow on pay per view. The LWO could not got a long promo as they were interrupted by the Judgement Day. Damian Priest was not with the side.
They argued in Spanish and at the end of the segment, Rey Mysterio and Zelina Vega ended up challenging Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley in a mixed tag team match which the Judgment Day. This match was scheduled as the main event of the show. The segment was good, the home crowd of San Juan, Puerto Rico really love did since it was all in Spanish.

Next of there was a Tag Team match between the Good Brothers of the OC and the Viking Raiders. This was a five minute long match and it was a pretty easy victory for the OC. The match might seem like a filler at a point, but we can confirm that this was not a filler, even though it might not have been an excellent match.
Okay we need to accept that the OC needed to win this match more than the Viking Raiders. Long as AJ Styles was out of action with injury, the rest of the OC did not get any proper booking. Michin got some jobber booking but the Good Brothers were know where to be seen. This was the definitely poor booking we must say. It made the fact clear that the OC is nothing without AJ Styles.

But the Viking Raiders are now totally buried. Last year WWE teased their return with multiple promo packages. It looks like that WWE was finally planning something big for this tag team. But ultimately they turned out to be jobbers who are jobbing to almost every single Tag Team they are wrestling.
What might have been the reason behind WWE’s failure to push The Viking Raiders? Honestly we believe the biggest reason was the Bloodline. Since WrestleMania 38, WWE did not get to see anything beyond the Bloodline. They gave them everything, all the world titles, all the Tag Team titles. You can never push your wrestlers if you focus on pushing only one single faction.
